I'm woken up by my cell phone ringing, I reach over to my bedside table and answer it without even checking the caller ID
"Hello?" I answer
"Hey.. oh did I wake you?" Daltons voice was heard
I cleared my throat
"No" I choked out
"Yes I did, don't lie. Anyways are you free tonight?" He asked
I thought for a moment
"Yea I guess" I said not being able to think of anything
"Perfect. So you know how I said I would make it up to you?" He asked
"Uh- yea" I said
"Well, Ariana is having a dinner at her house tonight and I asked if I could invite you. She said of course!" He said
"Eh, I'm not really up to a-" I was cut off
"Too bad" he said
"Then I'll like third wheel" I said
"Her brother is going to be there" he said
"Her brother is also gay with a boyfriend" I laughed
"True" he laughed
There was a short lived silence
"You can bring someone" he said
"Did she say it was okay?" I asked
"Yea" he said
"Can I bring Dakota?" I asked
He let out a sigh
"Yea" he said
"Cool thanks" I said
"Mhm" he hummed
"What time is this dinner?" I asked
"Five, so he there by four fifty. I'll send the address" he said
I pulled my phone away from my ear to see that it's already eleven am
"Okay" I said
"Okay, dress casually" he said
"Okay" I replied
With that, we both hung up and I made my way to Dakota's text messages

Dalton invited me to Ariana's dinner to make up for our fight. He said I can bring someone
