My alarm sounds throughout my bedroom causing not only me, but Rocky to wake up as well

"Sorry, buddy" I patted his head as I rubbed the tired out of my eyes and began to get out of bed

Before even walking into the bathroom, look for some clothes to wear to the office. Once I settle on a skirt and a button down blouse, I walk to the bathroom and brush my teeth before setting the water for my shower. I do my usual shower routine and when I get out, I do my skin care routine.

As I check the time, I realize I should be leaving here in thirty minutes since I have some emails that need to be urgently sent. I quickly get dress and begin to blow dry my hair and curling it so it's not totally flat. After my hair is done, I do some light makeup, which consists of concealer, mascara, a little bit of blush, and some lip gloss

Since Dalton has gotten back from the trip, he's been driving himself to work, so I don't have to worry about picking him up anymore. I think he knows that I'm not the happiest with him because of the way he treats Ariana. Dakota and I are good though. He apologized for calling me a bitch that one time and I apologized for putting him on the back burner during our relationship. We both recognized that we weren't ready for a relationship and we're over all just better off as friends

Once I finish getting ready, I feed Rocky his breakfast as well as give him fresh water before I make my way out of the house

"I'll be back soon" I told him

He just wagged his tail which was enough to tell me that he understood. I gave him one last pat on the head before grabbing my keys and going to my car. I immediately connect my phone to Bluetooth and begin to play music

When I got into the office Kelly informed me that Aaron called a meeting to be held at ten. I glanced at the clock and saw that it was nearing nine fifty which gave me just enough time to send these last couple of emails before I make my way to the conference room.

"Do you know what this meeting is about?" Dalton lightly knocked on my door

"No clue" I replied as I sent my final email

"I'm heading over there now" he stated

"Me too" I replied as I stood up from my chair

We walked to the conference room together and saw Kelly already standing by the double glass doors

"Any of you know what this is about?" She asked us

"Nope" Dalton said popping the p

"I was hoping you would" I told her sounding hopeful

"I unfortunately don't" she replied with a half smile

"It's alright" I smiled at her

Soon enough, everyone else started to flood in and take seats around the large table

"Alright, I think everyone is pretty much here" Aaron spoke as he came in and sat at the head of the table

Everyone nodded

"So as everyone knows, there's another trip coming up in the next few weeks.. maybe even days. We still need two more people to go. Is anyone else interested?" Aaron asked as he looked at me

No one said anything

"Y/n?" He asked

"I really can't sir" I said politely

"I know, I just thought I'd ask again" he smiled gently

I nodded

"Anyone else?" He asked once more
