That night at the event I saw a lot of things that did made me jealous. Kang is very touchy towards Jennie and it made me so uncomfortable. I tried taking pictures of other people to keep my eyes off of them but I just end up seeing them one way or another. After that event I wasn't able to see Jennie as well since I went home after that and they probably stayed for another shift at the hospital. The next day after the event I really haven't planned anything except packing for the next day which is today. I just packed for the Amsterdam trip and later that day I made a few calls just to make sure that the ex-girlfriend is still in Amsterdam. Jisoo told me that the woman is living away from the city. She told me that she'll go send some people to help me locate the girl just to make sure that we will get the statement within a week.
Now I'm here infront of my apartment with my luggage. I'm just waiting for Jennie and Ella. She didn't really told me to wait or anything but I think we do have the same flight schedule.
Cory went out earlier just to check up on me and assure me that if ever Kang calls, she will handle it. I'm scrolling through my phone when I heard a door open so I look up to see Ella running out with two luggage with her. She wave at me with a wide smile while struggling with two luggages.
"You excited?" I ask
"Very" she said while fixing her hair "mommy said she'll go and check everything and we can go downstairs to wait for an Uber"
"That's your mom's luggage?" I ask pointing at the other one making her nod. I grab it from her so I can pull it instead. We walk towards the elevator while she's still fixing her hair inside. "You need any help with that?" I ask since she's taking forever
"Eomma I'm 16" she said
"Good to know, you need help with that 16 years old Ella?" she sigh out loud just like Jennie does when she's pissed or annoyed making me chuckle
"I'm good eomma, thanks" she said in a monotone. When the elevator door open we walk straight out to wait for an Uber. We stand there for a couple of minutes while Ella's finishing up her hair.
"Did your mom booked one already?" I ask
"Ofcourse I did" I heard Jennie said from behind us "they'll probably pull up any minute now" she said making me nod as she stand next to Ella
"I'll-" before I can even speak up someone calls Jennie from behind making us all turn around
"It's Morgan, she's very nosy so... watch your words" Jennie said in a low tone so we can only hear it "hey Morgan" she said uninterested
"Hi little girl.. and Lisa right?" She said greeting Ella and I making me nod
"Why do y'all have luggage? Are you going to a vacation?" ofcourse there has to be this very nosy neighbor who will tell the whole world if you're having an affair
"No, I'm going out for work and I'm bringing Ella" Jennie said in the calmest way. Morgan then look towards me expecting an answer
"I'm attending a friend's birthday party in my hometown" she nod her head in understanding but her eyes does tell that she's not completely buying it
"Why do you have 2 luggages? I'm thinking that is Jennie's?" Jennie's luggage is still right next to mine since we weren't expecting this nosy asshat
"I'm just simply helping since Ella was carrying both earlier. You don't have a problem with helping a child who's struggling with two heavy luggages right?" I said making Jennie look at me.. I know she's warning me about not fucking this up cause I'm pissed
"No no.. not at all" she said giving me a smile... disgusting smile "I'm just checking up on you guys.. I kinda see you guys together multiple times in this building. Quite weird to be honest. I mean don't get me wrong, but Jennie isn't the most friendly neighbor in this building.. and that's alright. But somehow you guys are closer when Lisa just moved in a couple of months? I don't know.. I just think it's weird. Especially cause Jennie's married.. and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like any gossips around"
