"Kang" when he look at me I can see how surprise he is as well. I don't really know what to do... I feel like I want to cry but at the same time I just want the floor to swallow me alive. I don't even know what I should do with my gifts so I just lift it up making him look at it "uh.. I just moved here, I want to give this to Jennie and Ella" I said, I don't know why I feel like I have lost a fight.
"This flowers is for?" He ask, I look down at his ring finger to see one ring right there...fucking hell
"Ella" I said after a long pause. I don't think I can say right in front of Jennie's husband that the flowers are for Jennie. I seriously want to punch Kang but I am not really in the right place to do that.
"Ella is here, you can come in if you want to" right... I don't think I can do that
"No.. it's fine. I just dropped by to give these, I also need to take a rest after a long flight" I said
"Why'd you move here?" He asks while taking the gifts
"I have a project here"
"Out of all the apartments in LA?" I seriously want to take that as a rude way of saying it but honestly it is suspicious that I moved to a place where my ex girlfriend's staying
"The company was the one who chose the apartment" lies, the company let me choose my place.. I just don't want him to think that way "I'll go now" I said making him nod. I turn around and started walking back to my apartment as I heard their door close. Fuck I want to go back to Thailand now.
I open up the door of my apartment, walk in and go straight to bed. I feel really weak right now that I don't even have the energy to cry about it. I stare at the ceiling for who knows how long before I turn to look at my side table to grab my phone and call Jisoo.
On the first ring she immediately picked up the phone thankfully cause at this point I'll seriously bawl my eyes out if I can't talk to anyone
"Let's switch to facetime " she said and so we did. I turn around to lay down on my stomach to talk to her better. She appeared on the screen with her worried face again. I just stare at her not being able to come up with any words so Jisoo took the chance to speak up first
"So? How was your flight?" She said sensing the awkward atmosphere through the phone. I then saw Seulgi and Irene come up behind her. I look at Irene and she keeps breathing heavily like her secret has been revealed. To be honest, Irene is just keeping Jennie's secret cause Jennie told her to, that's why I can't even be mad at her right now
"Well I guess I'm kinda late" I said chuckling not even aware that a single tear drop out of my eye "do you know what? I'm mad. They didn't invite me on their wedding" I said chuckling as the tears keeps streaming down "well no actually, I think Jennie was being considerate knowing that I'm living in another country miles away from here" both Jisoo and Seulgi stare at me shocked about the sudden news
"She's married? To whom?" Jisoo asks with her eyebrows furrowed. On her back I saw how Seulgi turns to look at Irene since she knows everything
"Song Kang" Irene stated making Jisoo look at her
"I should get her gifts to congratulate her don't I?" I said chuckling again even though I don't really find it funny
"Ya Lalisa! Snap out of it" Jisoo said furiously "don't be a hypocrite. If you're hurt then cry, if you're mad then tell Jennie that you are mad. Don't congratulate someone from being happy when it causes you pain" she said which makes me sigh heavily
"I want to go back home now" I said burying my face on the bed
"No, you came all the way to LA so talk to Jennie about the problem you guys didn't even talk about" she said making me look up "finish everything you have to finish, talk for closure and go back here"
"How can I really last that long here?"
"You are Lalisa, you will do whatever you want to do. And you don't just give up... Are you saying you'll drop everything just because of Song Kang?"
"Are you saying I should just watch them be happy?"
"I'm just saying don't drop your work as well just because you are threatened by some guy. It's not like he will take everything away from you. And what about Ella? She's also the reason you went there right?"
"Who says I'm threatened?" I said trying to sound tough making them all chuckle at how bad that came out
"Go rest for now and clear out your mind" Jisoo said
"Don't hesitate to call us okay?" Seulgi says making me nod before ending the call.
I get up from my bed and take a shower first and dry up my hair once I'm done. I put on a short and a hoodie before going to bed. It's quite early but I need to rest.

I jolted up in the middle of the night when I heard the door bell ring. Fucking hell, that made my head ache. I turn to look at the clock and it's 8 pm. Oh so it's not in the middle of the night, I just slept really early. I stand up and put my hood over my head and walk out. My eyes are really heavy from crying earlier, Im guessing it is swollen by now. I walk straight towards the door not even bothering to open up the lights so my whole apartment is just pitch black. I open up the door and I swear my heart is about to combust

When she heard the door open she look up at me and I want to cry again cause for five years I haven't seen her, what do you expect from me at this point. I saw how she open her mouth but stopped herself from talking when she saw my eyes. It's either she was surprised that I'm really here or my eyes are really ugly when it's swollen.
"Why are you here?" She ask in a cold tone
"Jennie...do you want to come in?" I ask trying to act like we haven't seen each other for 5 whole years "I haven't cleaned up yet so it's dirty-"
"Just cut to the chase" she said as she just stand there
" I'm here for work stuff but I also wanted to see you and Ella" I said breathing out heavily
"Lisa, I'm married. My family's doing well... I just don't get why you have to live here out of all the places in LA"
"My company chose the apartment-"
"Bullshit" she said making me shut my mouth "I know you damn well Lisa.. you can easily decline the offer. " She sigh out heavily. This is what I'm afraid of.. her being this uncomfortable in front of me
"I won't get in your way if that's what you're afraid of" I said
"Then you should've not come here in the first place"
