Mia POV-
3 weeks after
I laid on my bed blankly staring at the ceiling. Vaarin hasn't texted me anything or even called me after whatever has happened, guess we are officially not seeing each other again.
A sigh left my lips and I laid on my right side.
I saw the phone.
11:58 pm
2 minutes to my birthday!
If Vaarin and I were still together then would he have done anything special for me? Would he have surprised me?
Maybe he would have talked to Roshni and Pari and then invited Sam and Alex.
And then maybe he would have come with cake...and Ice cream!!!
Maybe we would have solved our differences!
Or maybe we would be having a nice couple dance!
A wide smile spread on my lips after my all stupid and hopeless romantic thought!
I hugged My pillow more tighter to my Chest!
"MIA... OH MY GOd!! SHIT!!" I heard the panicking shout of Roshni
what the fuck happened!! Did she break something?
I hastily kept my feet and opened the door with the horrific thought of maybe she was hurt badly!
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I shut my eyes when the lights suddenly got on and I heard the scream with sounds of party poppers
I opened my eyes lightly to see the smiling faces of all my friends with few youngsters from society.
My hands went up to my mouth! Gosh, I can't believe it's true!
I could see a table set up with a small but beautiful cake and lots of chocolate on it, all my favorite!
"oh my god!" Was the only thing I was able to say.
Sam came forward-
"Happy birthday Mia!" He said while hugging me
"Oh my god, thank you so much Sam" I returned his hug as I sniffed, controlling my tears!
"Where is my hug?" Yes it was Alex
"Shut up princess," I said as I slapped his bicep and laughed, he made a sad face but laughed
"Happy birthday my beautiful bestie," He said as he hugged me
"Aww, Thank you so much, Alex" I hugged him back with a happy pout
"Happy birthday Our so pretty and humble Roommate cum Mother" I laughed at their statement and opened my hands for both of them to hug me
"Thanks a ton my beautiful Roommates cum sisters" I tightened my grip
"Happy Birthday Mia" I released a low chuckle as the rest wished in unison
"Thank you all of you guys, It means a lot!" I said to them
"Finally Our Mia is not a teen anymore !" Roshni exclaimed
"Ya the teen who takes care of you all" I rolled my eyes "C'mon I was already an adult so it's not a big deal!" I said
"Okay, leave this lets' cut the cake!" Said Alex as he dragged me to the table
"Guess which cake is this?" He asked me, looking excitedly.
I examined the cake which was covered in chocolate
"Chocolate cake?" I doubtfully asked
"No, it's an ice cream cake" He said with twinkling eyes
"Oh my god, seriously?" I asked and he nodded
"What are waiting for cut it" Roshni encouraged me and I nodded
I cut it into two small pieces as every one of them sang the classic happy birthday song for me!
I took two pieces and first fed Alex and Sam, oh if you guys haven't guessed already then my, Alex and Sam solved our differences a month or so ago.
I moved towards Roshni and Pari. They ate the cake and moved forward to get some cake for me!
I ate the cake when Sam fed me and took the cake from him.
