Avalon's POV:

Monday

I spend the rest of my weekend in my room, I only came out when I was hungry, I haven't said a word to my father in two days.

He left early for work today in two weeks will be the dinner at his firm which I am not looking forward to.

This Wednesday is our first game so we have extra practice this evening from 3:15 pm until 6:00 pm.

"Are you ready to go?" Avery asked me, today she was in a pair of jeans and a V-neck top, her hair in a ponytail.

I nodded.

Mom is leaving for work tomorrow although she will be in the country, we will not see her until the dinner party so it was just Avery, dad and I again.

Avery's punishment will be over on Wednesday and my own will continue until Saturday morning, that is so unfair.

Jesse picks me up for school, I am still angry at him.

"I'm sorry Ava, I brought this for you", he hands me a bag.

"What is it?"

"Your favorite", he smiles.

"Chicken sandwich?"

He nods.

"You're forgiven."

"That's all I need to hear", he grins.

When we arrive our group is hanging out by Bryce's car, Mackenzie at his side.

"We're dating", she says when Jesse and I get to them.

"Bed buddies", Bryce says.

"When did this happen?" I whisper to Felix.

"At the party apparently", he shrugs, "I think they hooked up."

"Yeah, no shit", I reply sarcastically.

"I am happy for you", I fake smile and Bryce gives me a deadpan look.

Nabila rolls her eyes as Felix pulls her to his side.

Is everyone in this group just randomly dating each other?

"Unlike you King, Nabila and I are dating, we are not bed buddies with no strings attach", Felix retorts.

"No strings are the better way, you are free to do what you want with any commitment, I am sure West will agree", Bryce looks at me," but wait, Avalon is actually a guy so she wouldn't know what's it like."

That little.....

I glare at him.

I charge at him, but Jesse holds me back.

"Calm down, let's just go", he states.

Mackenzie scoffs, clearly she still has a thing for Jesse.

I mean he does have the typically jock look, blonde hair, and blue eyes, a lot of girls want to date him.

"I'll see you french class West", Bryce calls as we walk away.

"Hey Ava", Baliey smiles when she sees me, she is talking to Luciano.

"Hey, how was your weekend?" I hug her.

"Good, I heard you were grounded."

"It's his fault", I elbow Jesse, and he groans.

"I thought you forgave me?"

"Apparently not", he laughs.

"You think you can buy my forgiveness", I look at him.

"It was worth the shot", he shrugs.
