Avalon's POV:

Friday

It's the end of the week again and tomorrow is our hangout, I heard from Jesse that Bryce and Mackenzie spend the night at the lake, I wasn't surprised. I thought they already spend the night there before earlier this week.

"What do you plan to do later?" Jesse asks me as we go to P.E  class which is my favorite.

"I am still grounded thanks to you so I'll be home, dad is coming home early too", I scoff.

"I'll come to keep you company, maybe play some video games", he offers.

"Didn't you have something to do?"

My schedule is clear", he shakes his head.

"Good."

We enter the gym, coach Wills is also our P.E  teacher which means he doesn't go easy on his soccer team members even in class.

"Alright students, today we are going to play a little friendly game of soccer", he begins.

The class groans.

"This is so unfair just because the school's soccer team won the first game doesn't mean everyone has to now play the sport for P.E", someone scoffs.

"Do you want laps with that?" The coach glares at him.

"N- no sir."

"Good, this is why you didn't make the team, you whine too much."

The guy turns red.

We all go out unto the field.

"Three laps then we will start the game", coach Wills blows his whistle.

Jesse sighs, "can you believe we have practice this evening as well?"

"At least we get warmup here", I shrug.

"West and Ford sit this one out", the coach states, "you got practice later."

"What to do instead?"

" Laps then help with the game, I'll be in my office", he states.

"You heard the guy", I clap my hands.

We did our three laps then Jesse and I put the class into two groups and start the game.

90 minutes later

"Group A wins, good game", I clap as the bell rings to end the class.

"See you all next week", coach Wills comes back out.

We leave the field and go to lunch.

"What's everyone's Friday night plans?" Nabila asks.

"Party", Luciano grins.

"Out", Bryce replies.

"Where are you going?" Mackenzie asks.

"Out, none of your business."

She rolls her eyes.

"Hanging out at the acne", Donovan shrugs.

"Spending the night at your place", Felix winks at her.

"I'll be home, still grounded", I glare at Jesse.

"And I'll go keep her company", Jesse adds.

"Oh, company", Avery smirks as Mackenzie frowns.

"Don't get the wrong idea", I say to her.

"I didn't say anything."

"Didn't have to", I state.
