Bryce's POV:

I wave at my friends and leave with Nina, she lives in the next street so I unlock my car, no way I am talking all that way.

"Are you good in bed as your reputation says?" Nina smirks.

"You'll find out soon, what about you?"

"You'll see", she winks.

Oh, she's a teaser.

I drive to her house, it's big.

"My parents are home and can't wait to meet you", she states.

"They know about me?"

"Your reputation goes far and wide, don't worry we'll get our private time just not now", she unbuckles her seat belt.

"Isn't it a bit late though? Maybe I should just go."

"My parents are night owls, they're waiting on us", she gets out of the car.

I turn off the car and get out then lock it with my key, we walk up to the door together.

"Why do they want to meet me?" I ask.

"I may or may not have told them about you, I'm interested in you Bryce", she opens the door.

"I'm not lookin-"

"I know."

"Mom, dad we're here", Nina announces as we enter the house.

A woman who looks exactly like Nina comes to us, she hugs her daughter, "nice to meet you Bryce", she shakes my hand.

"You as well, Mrs-"

"Call me Bernice."

Nina's father comes down the stairs, "happy you came Bryce, Nina has talked so much about you, you can call me Dan."

"She did?" I look at Nina who blushes.

"Yes, are you guys hungry?" Bernice asks.

Nina nods.

We go to the dining table and sit down, "so Bryce, how is your new life so far?" Dan asks.

"Good, I made some new friends", I reply.

"I started to watch you play last year and you're great, I hope you're going pro."

"Yes I am, I'm going back home next year after high school", I nod.

"You are?" Nina looks at me and I nod, "oh, you'll text me right?"

"Of course."

She smiles as her parents look at how we interact with each other.

"Are you single?" Bernice asks and Nina chokes.

"Mom."

"What? He's handsome so I expect him not to be."

"Actually I am single", I take a sip of water.

"What?" She chokes.

"Mom", Nina sighs.

"I'm just surprised."

She rolls her eyes, "she's so embarrassing", she mutters.

I'll give anything to have a dinner like this with my parents and actually have a conversion.

"You okay?" Nina nudges me and I smile.

After we finish eating, Nina walks me to my car.

"See you tomorrow night", she whispers to me.
