Chapter 21 (Trip Away)

When we landed we stepped out into the blazing sun

"Fuck I forgot how hot it was here" Giro said taking off his jacket while everyone did the same, I had on a shirt which was a little shorter but the high rise skinny jeans covered most of my belly
"Sweet blissful sun" Lila said looking up at the sky,

I saw from the corner Sebastian also taking off his jacket and my eyes looked instantly at his arms, both of them were covered in tattoos and he looked like a beautiful masterpiece
"Earth to Devon" Lila snapped her fingers at me and my head snapped to hers
"Someone is checking someone out" she wiggles her eye brows at me
"Stop it Lila" I hissed
"I was saying we freshen up then we all are going to have brunch" she said and I nodded

"Sounds good" I told her as we made our ways to the parked cars
Lila and Giro climbed into one and the one guys showed me to the other parked car where Sebastian was standing talking to one of the men. I climbed into the car and looked out the window

We are finally here, my sweet little vacation time, but my blissfulness soon ended when Sebastian entered the car, the cars took off as we passed magnificent buildings, I couldn't help but feel like a child looking at each passing building and structure it really was beautiful here
"So when do we go to the Godfather?" I asked Sebastian as he was still busy with his phone
"In two days" was his curt reply and I sat back in my seat, my phone went off and I opened the new text message received by Nessa, the photo she send was a beautiful island in the middle of the water called the Mont Saint Michel it was really beautiful but before I could reply my phone rang, showing Nessa's name

"And a good morning to you" I said picking it up
"Oh no it's actually afternoon here" she replied happily
"What did you think of the photo?" she asked me and I smiled in the corner of my eye I saw Sebastian look at me looking interested in my phone call
"God that is such a beautiful place Ness" I replied and she gushed
"Jason said after this he will be taking me to a very romantic dinner" she replied and I smiled looking outside
"I hope this time he does pop the big question" I replied and she laughed
"I hope so to Gosh Dev I wish you were here to experience this with me" she said and I thought about it
"Will next time maybe for a destination wedding?" I replied as her laugher filled the other line
"Oh yes that would be fun" she replied
"Hey Dev how is it going that side?" I heard Jason's voice over the phone interrupting Nessa
"Hey Jason nice to hear your voice everything is going well thank you" I replied I almost forgot that I was in the same car as Sebastian and I looked at him, he was still focused on something on his phone
"Good we will see you in a few weeks" Jason said
"I hope you have something big tonight" I told his and he laughed
"You just have to wait, but Dev we have to go now, don't work too hard we love you" he said and I laughed
"Enjoy Jason and love you to" I said hanging up and looking at my phone smiling I placed it back into my bag and looked out the window

"Always looking for the next opportunity" he said next to me and I moved my head in his direction
"Yeah well when it is your friends then you expect them all the happiness in the world" I told him and he placed his phone in his pocket
"While we are here, you stay out of my way and I will stay out of yours capito?" he said to me
"Perfectly" I replied and we both looked out of our windows

Gates opened and we drove into the beautiful place, the house was huge with another house next to it I stepped out of the car as Sebastian walked to the house
"It's beautiful huh" Ray said next to me
"Yes" I whispered and he looked proud
"Sebastian designed it himself" he said an I looked back at him
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"It's his home Devon" he walked out in front of me while I stood there in shock

His home, how the fuck was I supposed to stay out of his way now?

It's a big house maybe we don't get to see each other that often, yeah with that thought I walked behind Ray into the house. It was more beautiful inside it was spacious but felt like a home is supposed to feel like
"Devon I will show you to your room" Lila said and I followed her to up the stairs, while we walked I took in everything from the furniture to the huge windows overlooking the ocean
"Wait he lives next to the ocean?" I voiced my thought
"Why did you think I told you to pack bikinis?" she said when we reached our last step to the upstairs
"Does everything have to be so big?" I asked and she laughed
