Chapter 27 (Bachelorette Party)

"Hey Nessa" I said picking up my phone when I saw her name flashing on the screen
"Guess who finally asked me to marry him?" she yelled and I laughed
"Finally" I said
"Oh God Devon he took me to this fancy candle light dinner on top of the Eiffel tower and before I knew it he was bending on one knee" she explained excitedly
"I am so happy Ness it took him long enough" I said looking at the cater and smiled at him

I was currently in Linda and Mateo's house busy decorating and letting the carters for Lila's shower
"Yeah he said he wanted to ask me when I didn't expect it and I really didn't expect it" she said again and I smiled more
"So I guess I'll have to start planning the big day?" I asked her
"Oh you bet you will, how is it going that side?" she asked again and I placed the glasses neatly on the tables
"I'm actually busy with the daughter's bridal, we ended up being good friends to" I told her and she went quiet for a while
"And Mr Domenico how has he been treating you?" she asked and I thought back to last night
"That is a discussion for when you get back" I told her
"That bad huh"

"I'll tell you when you get back but now I have to go Ness sorry but I will speak to you later" I told her
"I know duty calls speak to you later bye" she said
"Once again congratulations" I said back
"Thank you" he yelled and hung up the phone

After last night I still had to see in what mood Sebastian was but now I really had to focus on this day, after everything was done and all the ladies came I greeted them all, most of them I met at the dinners

"I texted Linda about 20 minutes ago telling her everything was ready when she texted me a smiley face and they were on their way, I was standing by the door and saw Linda's driver driving up the driveway

"Okay guys they are here" I said and we all stood there waiting
"Mom I still don't know-"we heard her voice enter in the doorway

"Surprise" all the ladies including me yelled, she looked at all of us stunned standing there like a gawking fish and I walked up to her when she looked back at me, only her eyes moving
"Surprise" I said again and she burst out crying hugging me
"Oh...my...God Devon" she cried sobbing in between her talking
"We thought you might need something more relaxing" Linda spoke up from behind her and she turned to her mother
"Mother" she cried more

"I can't...believe you guys did this" she sniffed and wiped her tears with the back of her hands
"Thank you so much" she looked at all the ladies
"This means so much to me" she walked in giving all of them a hug, there were more ladies than what I expected around about 15 or so, I looked back at Linda and smiled

"Thank you Devon" she hugged me
"Couldn't have done it without you" I told her honestly
"Amelia I hope you got the photos" I yelled at Amelia taking the pictures
"I got some good ones" she yelled back over the chatter as we all laughed
"I was wondering why my mother was so eager to take me out today and we actually went into a shop two times" she said looking at her mother
"Sorry I still didn't get a text from Devon and I didn't know what else to do" her mother replied as we all laughed

"Okay ladies you can all take a seat, Lila here is yours" I placed a black shirt in her hands and she put it on, Bride to be was written in the front in red letters and then I placed a champagne glass in her other hand
"Let's toast" I yelled up and everyone turned to me
"Cheers to the last days of being not married" I started and everyone laughed while Lila looked at me
"To a person who has crept into so many hearts including mine and made me her Maid of Honour, and may you only have happiness in the world, hope Giro has his work cut out for him" I said and everyone clicked their glasses together
"Thank you Devon" Lila said after everyone started chatting
"Don't just thank me I couldn't have done this without your mother" I told her pointing to her mother who was laughing with another lady
"No I mean thank you for being here in my life, my family's life you have made me so happy" she said and I hugged her again
"Always Lila you are my friend and I will do anything for you" I told her
"Did you know Sebastian also threw Giro a bachelor party?" she said and I frowned
"No I didn't know that I only now about him accepting him as a brother" it slipped out of my mouth and she turned to me
"How did you know that?" she asked and I blushed turning her around
