"Ack!" I let out feeling a fist hit my stomach and then my face

I looked up at the guard who rubbed his fist as he snarled

I shouldn't have talked back...but I'm not going to listen to this guys bullshit either

"Agh!" I let out when I felt blood puddle in my mouth

[spits]

It landed on his shoe when I chuckled

"Damn brat when will you learn" he snarled and took out his sword

Nothing I'm not used to...I've been trapped down here for over 13 years now...and ever since the last paladin died sometime last year all my hopes of escaping and getting revenge died too

I felt the sword stab through my arm mussel as my eyes widened

[guard chuckles]

"Not so tuff now are you boy" he snarled and twisted the sword in my arm

"Agh!" I screamed trying to shake but the chains prevented me from doing so

[door opens]

The sword was ripped from my skin as The chains where released from the wall and I fell kneeling to the floor sitting with bruises and blood all over me

"Quiet down in here I can hear you screaming from outside" I heard a familiar voice chuckle as I snarled

"Sir Arthur" the bitch who just tortured me for an hour bowed at the sight of the new paladin. The one who made this hell my reality

"I need you to prepare more chains down here...our little hybrid is going to have another friend soon" Arthur chuckled

My eyes widened As my lips trembled remembering the last demon who was locked in here with me only months ago

"you'd better pray this one isn't a hero either," Arthur said when I flinched and looked up at the man who seemed to have read my thoughts "though the chances are likely...you might watch someone die again"

I felt my features grow lifeless remembering the only boy I could call a friend...die in front of me

I felt my teeth clench

"Let the boy heal and do your task," Arthur said

"Yes sir right away" he bowed and walked out of the cell leaving me with Arthur When he walked up to me and grabbed my face

I tried to move out of his grasp when he slammed my head against the wall

"You better not try to be a hero either...Sasuke" Arthur snarled When he let go and walked out as well

How could I...I couldn't even save my own family
