Kaneki's pov
I stood with rin looking over the hideout of ghouls

"According to the information I gathered the ghoul community ahead is being targeted by the doves" rin said as we stared at the hideout

"Let's hurry then" I said as rin nodded and we jumped down

[footsteps]

"I know you guys feel...but you can't save every ghoul my king" nishio said when I flinched slightly

"I know...but we've got to try" I said as Rin smiled beside me When we reached the hideout seeing dead bodies

[fire crackling]

"It looks like being above ground is no longer a safe place for us" nishio said as i stared at the bodies with wide eyes

"Tch" rin snarled

I sat at the table In the cafe as I stared at the map with the different hideouts we tried to save and crossed out the one from earlier

"Who the hell has been attacking these hideouts CCG never moved that quickly before" rin snarled and handed me a coffee

"Well with furuta and mephisto sneaking around I'm sure things are changing...but it's worse" I sighed "I wish I was the one to kill the heads...it would of went smoothly according to Arima"

"With furuta knowing the plan arima had for you I'm sure he's trying to prevent it...but why" rin said and sat next to me

"Feast your eyes!" We heard furuta on the tv and turned to look at it as we saw him standing on the dead bodies from the hideout we tried to save

"Tch" rin stood up and snarled

"We will not allow them to remain at large" furuta said "we will dispatch all ghouls, and strive for a perfect world!"

"We need to hurry and move to the 24th ward...rin I need you to contact Yukio before we do...who knows when your battle will happen" I said as he nodded when I grabbed his hand "it will be fine" I said as he smiled and kissed me

"I'll call him tomorrow" he said as i sighed

"Fine" I said

Third person pov
Kaneki watched rin lean back against the chair he sat on before

"Rin" kaneki said as rin looked over to him

"I'm fine...I just feel like shit having to involve Yukio in this" Rin said when Kaneki smiled and climbed ontop of rin to sit in his lap

Rins hands wrapped around Kaneki's waist as he leaned into his chest and sighed. Kanekis arms cradled rins head As he played with the hybrids hair

"This must be stressful for you" Kaneki said 

"It always is...but we're going to get through it soon right?" Rin said as he smiled and met eyes with kaneki staring for a moment then leaned in and kissed the man passionately

Kaneki grabbed his face feeling rin as he gripped onto his hips and brought Kaneki's body closer to his own
