I felt a hand on my head as it played with my hair

"Rin...I'm fine...just rest" I heard him whisper out when I looked and saw his wound start to heal as I let out a sigh of relief

"Haise," I said as I saw a tear slip from his eye and flinched as I felt his hand trace my cheek "I'm sorry about kaneki" my eyes widened

"Heh...you don't have to apologize for him...just don't die" I chuckled as I felt tears leave my eyes
"Damnit" I sighed as I picked up haise

"Rin I said rest-" he said when he passed out

[footsteps]

"Arima," I said as I looked at him feeling tears leave my eyes as he walked up to me

"Rin...you are to transfer back to true cross 3 days from now," arima said aloud to me as he and his squad walked away

I stood frozen as my eyes widened

'That's right...mafesto...Mr Yoshimura called him to save you didn't he' I remembered the ghouls words

I looked back down to haise to see him sound asleep...he didn't hear that then. I walked out of the room back to the CCG set up

"Mr Okumura!" I heard tooru yell as I saw shirazu, Saiko and urie run up to me

"Hey...glad to see you made it out safe" I looked to tooru and urie "but you look like you didn't follow orders"

"I'm sorry," Urie said

"It's fine as long as you're alright" I sighed as I sat down with haise now asleep in my arms as he leaned against my chest

"Is Mr sass alright?" Shirazu asked

"He will be," I said and brushed some of his hair Out of his face as I frowned slightly

"1st grade Okumura" I heard as I looked up to see mado

"Hey," I said and raised an eyebrow "what" I asked

"How is he," she asked

"He's asleep right now he's still healing but I gave him some of my flesh to help...so hands-off," I said as I noticed the doctors behind her flinch

"R-right" the doctors stuttered as they walked away

"Oi kids" I called to them as they turned over "don't just stand around if you've already been treated go help look for the dead I smelt some on my way back from the auction room," I said as they nodded

"What about you?" Shirazu asked
