I sat on the chair on the counter with shima and izumo as we drank our coffee

"So...did you make up with that haise guy yet?" Izumo asked as I flinched

"I don't know...I'm trying to give him space and all and waiting for him to say he's ready to talk but...it's not really going anywhere" I said

"What happened in the first place?" Shima asked as I set my mug down and rubbed the back of my neck

"I had to tell them I was being transferred back to true cross and I didn't know how to tell them so when the time came my feelings were all over the place and I ended up saying some things and he kicked me out so here we are" I said as I sighed

"What'd you say?" Shima asked

"I called him a joke" I said

"Ooo" they both winced as I flinched

"I know it was a bad thing to say! Don't remind me" I snarled as I drank my coffee again

"So where's haise now?" Izumo asked

"last I heard he had an idea for a mission so he took the kids" I sighed and ran my hands through my hair

"We can't really do anything can we?" Shima asked

"We've already investigated all the crime scenes for demon traces...and we've helped train the quinxes with their taints so they aren't spooked by demons...i already talked to ui about everything and we exchanged information...so no...Not really" I said

"We can scout?" Shima asked

"I'd have to get permission...and some doves to come help with the ghoul part" I sighed as I laid my head down

"Then you work on that" I heard shima say as I shot up and saw him and izumo starting to walk out of the shop

"Hey wait today was supposed to be an easy day!" I said

"Damn" I chuckled slightly

"That was embarrassing to watch" I heard Sasuke from behind me as I elbowed his stomach

"Shit...now I have to go talk to that ui guy again" I sighed

"What's wrong with him?" Sasuke asked

"He's fine and all but...he acts like the second I mess up I'm just going to be like any other ghoul or demon" I snarled

"Well maybe when you are able to get kaneki and hinami out of there you can kill him along the way" Sasuke said as I raised an eyebrow in interest
