Rin leaned back against the chair haise sitting next to him as they listened to the others

"On another note, it seems the guinx's Urie and shirazu encountered wasn't the ghoul you were supposed to capture," washu said as he stared at haise

"Weren't you working on tracking the ghoul's movements for a couple of days but it just turned out to be this trash" washu said

"Yeah I know it was a huge let down I even had rin step up and help but his efforts were wasted" Haise chuckled slightly as rin glared at washu

"Don't just laugh this off investigator Sasaki. Those men of yours the "quinx" and the "hybrid" have done nothing but eat through the budget meanwhile not showing any improvement"

"Well rin is still getting adjusted and with the new members the others are...well-" Haise tried to speak

"Disproving?"

"No!" Haise defended only to get interrupted again

"You failed to do your job and yesterday finish off that taxi driver. What's the point of letting a good for nothing like that live" washi sighed

"Ah-" haise stuttered

"Well I guess you'd feel pity for them since you're a ghoul as well" washu said

Haise trembled at his words while looking down at the table

"What's him being a ghoul have to do with anything...weren't you the ones who created the quinx you're no better" rin said when haise flinched

"Rin" haise whispered

"It just doesn't make any sense...if it was that easy to track a ghoul we would be done especially with my senses but you guys decided it was safer to keep me under slight suppressors so I don't want to hear complaining from you" rin said as he stood

"Rin Okumura I have not dismissed you yet" Mado stood up

"And as of killing that ghoul, It's because he's a good for nothing that haise left him alive...and he could have information on the ghoul we're tracking since he framed his attacks...but you knew that yet you still give us a hard time" Rin side glared washu

"Rin please sit down," haise said and grabbed his arm

"Why the meetings over now" rin looked down at him

"As you're aware if rin doesn't meet the expectations given to him his time in jail will resume," washu said when haise flinched

"S-sir" haise said

"What" Washu snarled

"He's been a huge help I don't see why h-" haise said when rin covered his mouth

"It's fine," rin said As haise sighed

"Dismissed we'll discuss more after we find a lead," washu said
