ODD - Hello miss Einstein. You look like you slept as much as Jeremy.
JEREMY - I'm trying to monitor my sleep better, Odd. That being said, he's right, did you get any sleep ?
AELITA - Yes, a bit. It's just, since we shut down the supercomputer last week I've been having a lot of nightmares. Visions of my dad being killed, visions of XANA winning anyways.
JEREMY - XANA is no longer here, Aelita.
AELITA - I know he should no longer be here. But what if we missed something ?
Nobody had an answer to that, they all knew they could not afford having missed something.
YUMI - I know it's more complicated than that, but you really should try to not think about that.
ULRICH - Maybe seeing a therapist ?
AELITA - And tell him my dad sacrificed himself to destroy a virus that was about to take over the world ? I kind of would like avoiding being deemed completely mad.
YUMI - She has a point. Anyways, know that if you want to talk, we're here for you.
AELITA - Thanks.
JEREMY - Aelita does have a point though. I'm starting to think leaving the supercomputer shut down like that could be dangerous. If anybody comes across it they could use it.
YUMI - And what would you suggest ?
JEREMY - We could add a few passwords here and there, and mainly add an entry to the boot loader to let us know anytime the supercomputer is switch on. That would take a lot of work though.
AELITA - Not only that. If we missed even one replika XANA can gather strength again.
JEREMY - Aelita, you know it should not be possible.
AELITA - And you know it is possible.
YUMI - You're probably worrying too much Aelita.
ODD - Anyways, there is an amusement park in town, since we don't have classes this afternoon why not give it a try ? Might take your mind off those awful things princess.
AELITA - Maybe. It's always worth giving it a shot.
However, despite the group's best effort, the plan was not a success. Aelita was barely involved in what she was doing.
Jeremy won her a cute pink teddy bear, and the group gathered to eat some cotton candy.
JEREMY - It doesn't seem to work very well, does it ?
AELITA - I'm sorry, it doesn't.
In the meantime however, the rest of the group had time to think as well.
ULRICH - Jeremy. I wanted to ask you but, how exactly is the supercomputer dangerous ?
JEREMY - Well, even with XANA gone, anyone could switch it on, and if they know what they are doing they could be as dangerous as XANA.
ULRICH - But, turning it off is not any safer then ?
JEREMY - There is a little password to switch the computer on.
YUMI - But you were able to crack it.
JEREMY - Actually I had the help of a teacher. Regardless, it is not as safe as one could think it is.
YUMI - And if we leave it on ?
JEREMY - Then we can ensure nobody else uses it.
ODD - But can't XANA come back ? There are still his files there, right ?
AELITA - Not really, when we rebuilt sector 5 we did not get his files back.
ULRICH - So the safest is to turn it back on ?
AELITA - Yes.
JEREMY - Yes.
YUMI - Then, who is for switching it back on ?
All five teens raised their hands.
ULRICH - Then it is decided, we'll switch the computer on.
JEREMY - We should be able to secure it in a few weeks.
AELITA - A bit more, I want to enhance the hyperscan too.
A few minutes later, they switched the computer back on, and started working on securing it properly.
