Summary: Therapy seemed to take a turn this time.
Word Count: 1976

"Bucky, have any nightmares lately?" His therapist asks. Bucky shakes his head. "No." He says.

"Okay, well today we're trying something different." She says as she holds down a button. "Send her in please."

The door opens and you walk in. "What's up doc?" You ask.

"I believe you know Bucky." She points to Bucky.

You and Bucky make eye contact. You look away. "This is why I'm here?" You ask.

"Just have a seat y/n." She says. You listen and sit down on the couch. Away from Bucky. "Alright y/n, how have you been?" She asks.

"Fine." You say.

"Just fine?" She asks.

"What do you want me to say. Oh I'm fantastic today. I saw a bird eating a french fry and it made me cackle and made me so happy doc. Best day of my life." You sarcastically say.

"Well, we can talk about how you are feeling, or we can talk about why Bucky has been your main topic for our past sessions." She says.

"Or." You start. "We can talk about shock therapy instead."

"Y/n, we talked about this. You're not doing shock therapy." She says. You shrug, "Worth a shot. I mean, I'm not doing any better. The pills and medicine you prescribed me aren't doing squat."

"Y/n, why don't we talk about why Bucky has been what you normally talk about." She says.

"Or, we can talk about how meditation is crappy. Don't get me started on yoga." You say.

"Y/n come on- wait what was wrong with yoga?" She asks.

"The instructor was getting handsy." You say innocently.

"What did you do?" She asks.

"Nothing bad. He's leaves the hospital in a couple of weeks." You say. Dr. Raynor puts her head in her hands.

"Let's move on y/n. Why has Bucky been on your mind?" She asks.

You glance over at Bucky who was already staring at you. "Why are we doing this again?" You ask.

"Because it's healthy." She says.

You sigh, "I don't like Bucky. He's the reason for all my trauma. After I joined the avengers, he didn't even bother to have more than three conversations with me. I hate Bucky."

"Why?" She asks.

"Because he tried to kill me. And then he didn't even apologize for it. Then he ignored me." You state.

"Bucky do you have anything to say?" She asks.

"I'm sorry." Bucky mumbles.

"Oh you're sorry. After all these years. I'm not buying it." You say.

"Hey! Listen to him." Dr. Raynor says.

"No! This is bullshit! I'm outta here." You stand up and go to leave.

"Y/n! Sit your ass down! Right now! We're getting through this." She yells.

You groan and sit back down. "Bucky. Why has y/n been the main topic of our last couple of sessions?" She asks Bucky.

"I'm sorry for everything I did y/n. I truly am." Bucky says. You scoff.

"Y/n, why don't you tell me how you've really been doing?" She asks.
