Jaydee's POV (Present)

I'm again at the hospital. I'm just going to transfer her to a private room before I head for work when I noticed she's gone. At that moment I feel like I been struck by lighting. Wife where could you have been? I approached the nurse station.

"Excuse me.
I'm looking for my wife, Frances Villaruel.

She was right over here yesterday."  I told the nurse.

"Well, it looks like they moved her
up to the VIP floor." She said after checking.

"That's ---" I didn't continue what I'm about to say and just look at her and we had an understanding.

"It's a donor's wing.

Just go down here and take the elevator
to the second floor and make a right." She said and smiled.

"Okay. Thanks." Then I started to run as if I'm running for my life which is partly true because she's my life.

"Frances, your long-term memory recall is intact

and I'm very optimistic the rest of
your memory is going to improve with time." The doctor's talking when I entered her room.

"Ms. Villaruel, I'm so glad you're here." The doctor said when she recognized me.

"This is bizarre. I'm Jaydee,  Frances' wife." I introduced myself to her parents. I actually never met them before.

"Do you know how disconcerting
it was to hear second-hand

that my daughter
had been in the ICU for a week

and we hadn't been told?" Frances' father said to me with disappointment and disbelief.

"You should have called us." This time it's her mother.

"I'm sorry." That's all I could say.

"You've never met my parents?" Frances asked me.

"I don't understand.
Why haven't you met her?" She asked her parents but they ignored her and instead talk to the doctor.

"So, Doctor, now what is the next step?" Her mom asked the doctor.

"The sooner she settles back into her life,
her normal routine, the better.

Starting in a week or so,
I'm gonna recommend

that Frances see a neural psychologist." The doctor recommended.

"Okay. Whatever she needs.

Therapy, specialists,
I'll make sure she gets the best.

You'll come home
where I can take care of you.

Mom can make up your old room,
and I can take some time off work." Her dad said. I see now their ignoring my presence and my part of decision. They're taking away my wife from me. I get it that they're rich but she's my wife and I can provide for her.

" I don't mean to be disrespectful,
'cause we really appreciate that,

but you just heard Queen' s doctor say

that she needs to go back
to her normal routine.

Her life with me is her normal routine." I spoke to interrupt their meeting. I can't let them take my wife.
