Hearing a twig snap in half, he turns his head in the direction of the noise. He expected to see the man that controls him, the demon of a person that haunts him. He never expected to see his old friend, his first ever friend at that. "Deo..." he whispered, surprised by his friends appearance.
Deo, glad to see his oldest friend, smiles wide. "Hey Tommy, I'm new around here. Maybe you can show me around," Deo asks, knowing that Tommy needed someone to talk to. He's never seen his friend look so tired, or worn down, for what it's worth.
Upon noticing the rather dishevelled state of his old friend he couldn't help but wonder, "God what have they been doing to him? Wasn't Tubbo supposed to take care of him? Weren't Tommy and Tubbo supposed to be the duo? In retrospect, where is Tubbo? Isn't he supposed to be here to help Tommy?"
Tommy caught on to Deo's thoughts rather quickly. "Deo, don't worry. I did this to myself, besides Tubbo shouldn't have to pay for my mistakes." Deo raised an eyebrow at this statement. Why would Tommy say that? What kind of mistake required Tommy or Tubbo to pay? What kind of payment left a person- let alone Tommy- this weak?
"Tommy... what mistake did you make?"
