The blonde sorcerer was lost in her mind. She still needed a really good way of killing the Skeleton Detective and his partner. A few ideas had really stood out, but none of them she'd seemed particularly interested in actually putting into action.

As she walked down the street, mortals brushed past her, going about their busy, boring lives. The woman's fists clenched when one businessman in a fancy tuxedo knocked into her and kept going.

People were so rude.

She turned on her heel, keeping her blue eyes on him as she stalked him through the crowd, keeping her distance whilst still keeping him in sight. She didn't smile, just kept the same blank expression on her face. The man crossed the road and she didn't wait for the cars, just followed him.

She got honked at, and with a small flick of her wrist, the drivers exploded inside their vehicles. Mortals shouted in alarm, but the woman just continued stalking the businessman.

He stopped at the corner shop to look at his phone, and she came to a stop behind him. She watched the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, and he turned slowly.

While the mortals were distracted by the commotion on the street, the woman punched the businessman, her fist going straight through to the back of his head. Blood spurted and brains exploded. She drew her hand back - which was covered in pieces of brain and blood - and let the dead man drop in a mangled heap.

Then she stepped around him and kept walking, moving quietly away from the chaos she had left behind her.
