after i brushed my teeth and put it in my suitcase i had to wake josh up.

lex- hey bub we have to go to the airport. i whispered putting light kisses all over his face and neck.
josh- mknjh. he mumbled. oh shoot were going to the beach today. he said opening his eyes.
lex- yeah duh. i said with a little giggle. i already packed your bag too.
josh- aww thanks baby. he said cupping my face and kissing my forehead.

once we landed in the keys we went straight to our air bnb to drop all our bags off.

bryce- hey so theres a party tonight that were going to if you wanna come. he asked popping his head into my room. josh was with noah downstairs.
lex- probably not. i said with a smile.
bryce- okay let me know if you change your mind because i cant hangout with you or i cant stay too btw.
lex- its okay dont wanna be a burden go have fun.
bryce- okay love you and cya. he said turning around.
lex- love you. i said/yelled.

then the rest of the girls came into my room asking if i was gonna go to the party. i kept declining because im not ready to go to a party yet let alone in another state. i kinda feel bad that im not going but its okay what happened a couple weeks ago was traumatic. i also feel bad because everyone it worrying about me and they shouldnt im fine.

i just chilled the rest of the night while everyone partied. josh never asked even if i was comfortable with going he just left me but its fine.

josh- wait what she didnt come.
bryce- no she said she wasnt ready.

how could you forget to ask your girlfriend if she was even ready to come.
