The Alter-Dimension (part 2)
The forest has what are called "waypoints". Waypoints are invisible doorways to the alter-dimension. These waypoints are able to connect to virtually anywhere as long as the location is in or near a forested area.
On occasion, people will unknowingly stumble through those waypoints. And since Stick Boi controls everything in this dimension, he knows immediately whenever anything enters or exits through the waypoints. So the proxies are then sent out to go find them and "take care of them."
