Your POV:
"Hey Alby.."

"Yeah?" Alberto responded, analyzing the sea shells he was collecting. I dangled my feet off the big boulder I was sitting on, looking down at the ground.

"I've been thinking.. since you don't got to school and I know you dont know how to read..-"

"..Are you going to teach me how to read?" Alberto stopped me, now looking at me. He seemed eager but a little nervous. I jumped off the rock going towards him.

"Well I would love to! I go to school and I would love teach you.. that's if you are willing to d-"

"O-Of course! I would LOVE TO!" he dropped the sea shells, pulling me into a hug. I giggled patting his back.

"Well that wasn't at all the reaction I was expecting! But I'm glad you want to." I hugged him back, smiling.

"Alright Al I'll choose a simple book.. preferably a children's book." I looked through a box of old books that were laying around in Giulia's room, soon I found a kindergartener level book.

I cheered going to sit with Alberto.

He looked at the picture book with excitement, I scanned the book making sure it was an interesting yet simple book.

Once I was done I smiled "Alright let's start with the first page." I went back to the first page putting my finger on the first word.

Alberto scooted close to me, getting a better view at the page. He squinted at the word trying to sound it out

"Sound it out babe, like this. T-h-e.."

I moved my finger over the sentence sounding it out for him, he caught on also sounding it out with me. Once he said the full sentence we both cheered.

"Yay! Good job sweetie!" I kissed his cheek, smiling widely. He blushed slightly with a smile.

"Hey Y/n.. everytime I get a sentence right.. can you kiss me-?" Alberto shyly asked, making me blush. I hesitated for a second

"Y/n pllleeassee! It'll will motivate me mooore!" Alberto pleaded, with begging eyes. I sighed softly nodding my head in agreement.

I patted his hair floof as he smiled warmly at me. Once I was done we went back to the book, pronouncing the words together sometimes he would do it by myself, making my face lit up with excitement.

"T...The... cat.. had a ... bat- that.. w-whacked- the g-gnat!" (Dont come at me just tryin to rhyme damn 🚶🏾‍♀️)

"Hey I did i-"

'Peck!'

"Good job!"

"S..soon the b..balloon- flew away with the.. baf- buffoon-? This is a very weird bo-"

'Peck.'

"Yeah I know the author doesn't know much about writing kids books."

"..Wha-?"

"Uhh.. nevermind heh.."

After Alberto finished the entire book he had a total of 10 kisses, soon to be about 20 when I cover him up since he finished the book perfectly.

"Y/n I did it!" Alberto cried out. I nodded my head quickly, throwing my hands around his neck to kiss him.

We fell onto the bed with Alberto giggling as I kissed his cheeks, lips, forehead, mostly his entire face.

Once I was done we both laughed together ended our laughs with one last slow delicate kiss on the lips. I got off of him to grab another book.

"You think you could knock out another book?" I asked, holding up the book in the air, like it was a prize. Alberto stood up with his hands on his hips, looking confident.

"Bring it on! I'm already a pro at this reading thing." He stated making a confident smirk. I raised my eyebrow "Eheh, well see about that Mr cocky pants." I giggled.
