Diesel spent all night formulating a plan. This morning was his time to act. While getting Henry's goods train ready that morning, he oiled up to the trucks in an empty siding and started to whisper to them.
"I see you appreciate jokes! You made a good one about me yesterday, I laughed and laughed. Duck told me one a few. I'll whisper them to you." And so he did. "Don't tell the others I told you."
The other trucks laughed hysterically. "We will tell them! They will all be very cross!"
And so, for the rest of the day, whenever an engine would pass by, they would laugh rudely at them. Little did they know Diesel was behind all of it and there was worse to come.
