Chapter 28: Back Home

Y/N POV:

"Well Mr.Hacker..I don't think you are aloud to see my daughter ever again" my dad says. My eyes widen. I stand up from the bed aggressively. "What?!" Both me and Vinnie say at the same time. "You heard me. Both of you. Pack your stuff because we are leaving soon" my dad says. Vinnie stands there, as he storms out of the room.

2 DAYS LATER:

Turns out, me and my siblings are grounded for a month. We can't have our phones or laptops or anything. We can only watch tv. I'm now back home, I got back home yesterday. I haven't heard of Vinnie since the day he stormed out of the room in LA. None of us knew where he went. His parents must be Mad.

I mean I don't know if he's back home or still in LA. I just really need to talk to Vinnie right now.

I sigh, looking at myself in the mirror. I just finished getting dressed for school. This is the first time I'm going back to school after leaving LA. This is what I'm wearing;

I fix my hair a bit, slipping my shoes on. My door was open, as I see Ariana now standing there, as I put some lipgloss on, in front of my vanity. "Yes?" I ask her, still applying. She crosses her arms. "Have you heard of Vinnie? I kind of miss him" she says. "Nope. I don't even know if he came back home from LA. I'm pretty sure his parents know because mom and dad told his parents about the whole thing" I say.

"Didn't dad say you and vinnie can't see each other?" She asks. "Nope, we cannot. But I'm most likely gonna see him in school. Let's hope he's there" I say. "I'll let you know if I know anything about him. I'll see you after school" she says walking off. I nod, getting up from sitting down. I grab my backpack turning off my light from my room.

I close my room door, heading downstairs to eat my breakfast really quick.

I sit down on the table, as I see Kio and Louis eating there breakfast. My dad already left off to work, and my moms in the living room I'm pretty sure. I sit down in front of my plate, seeing toast with butter on it. "You ready to go back to school?" Louis asks me. I see Kio look up at me.

I take a sip of my orange juice. "I guess. It's not a big deal, we skipped three days of school. I'm sure we don't have lots to be done" I say, taking a bite of my toast.

"That's not what i mean. I mean like..you got humiliated in front of the whole school before you left. Like getting punch poured all over you" Louis says. "Oh..true. Uhm, it's okay. It's whatever, it's nothing compared to what happened this past week" I sigh. "Yeah" Kio whispers. I look at the time, "sh*t, we are gonna be late. Let's go" I say, getting up. I take one last sip of my juice.

PERIOD BEFORE LUNCH:

I walk into the classroom. Finally lunch is after this class. I sit down on a empty desk. I haven't seen Vinnie in school, at all. Troy told me he wasn't in any classes. My head rest on my hand. "Is this seat empty?" I hear a familiar voice say. I roll my eyes, looking to my right to see Nessie standing in front of the desk looking at me. "Oh" I say jolting up a bit.

He chuckles, sitting beside me. "You alright? How have you been? I know I can't really talk to you on the phone since you gotten it taken away" he says. "I've been fine. I think it's good that I don't have my phone or anything. It's like a break off social media and stuff" I say. "That's good, that you have a break. I'm sorry about the whole thing~" he says, but I interrupt him.

"No no, it's fine really. It's in the passed now. Anyways, have you seen Vinnie?" I ask Nessie. I see his face go soft, as if he was hurt. I immediately start to feel bad. "Uh-uhm yea, uhm no I haven't actually. I haven't heard of him either" he says. I slowly nod. "Alright class, let's begin!" I hear my teacher yell, coming into the class room. Both me and Nessie turn straight, to listen.

LUNCH:

I put my books into my locker, as I shut it. "Hey look! It's the sl^t!" I hear some random guy say, pointing to me as he walks by. I roll my eyes. Are they still at this. I see Nessie come up to me, as we where now walking side by side. "Hey beautiful" he says. My cheeks heat up a bit. "Hey" I whisper, as we where now walking to Lunch. "Mind if I sit with you at lunch today? I figured you needed someone" he says, looking at me.

"Yeah sure, you can sit with me. But I'm fine. I'm gonna be sitting with Troy, Nai, Cynthia, and my brothers so you can join" I say, looking down at my shoes for a second. "Cool cool" he say. We finally get to the cafeteria. "I'm gonna get a lunch. Want anything?" Nessie asks me. "Uhm sure, get me a water please" I say. He nods, walking off. I see the table with Nai,Troy,Cynthia, Kio and Louis.

I walk over, sitting right next to Troy and Kio. "Hey guys" I say. "Hey bae" Cynthia says. The rest say hi.

"What did I miss?" I ask. "Nothing really" Kio says, taking a bite of his carrot stick. "Nothing of Vinnie?" I ask. "Nope" Nailea says, with a sad face. "Troy do you know any more information about vinnie?" I ask. "Well, all I know is that yesterday I went over to his house and he wasn't there. There parents are saying to keep a look out for him because they can't find him at all and that he still hasn't returned back from LA, so they are planning to head there to go find him" he says.

"What? Why didn't you tell us this earlier? I thought he was back home and just skipping school" Louis says. "Right!" I agree. "It's like..he disappeared" I sigh.

"We need to go back to LA AND FIND HIM!" Cynthia says. "We cant. There's no use. Just let him come back when he's ready" I say.
