Talks with Lucifer Chap.6

over the next few days you spent at Purgatory Hall, every day was filled with joy and surprises but also the love Simeon had for you grew deeper by the day, he started thinking of showing subtle hints of his affection, but scraping that as it was a little too bold he wanted to take things slow, as Simeon was in his thoughts he then went to his room, you were currently out shopping with Luke, he went to his desk taking out a piece of paper then getting his quill without thinking he started to draw, although a simple sketch he was drawing you, a smile came to his face as he thought of  your every smile filling his head, how he yearned to hold you in his arms never letting go, but even more than that he wanted to kiss you, a blush then rose onto his cheeks he then admired his sketch of you with love in his eyes he then drew a flower in your hair as to finish, he smiled before putting down his quill, standing up walking over to the bed placing it down where you'd see it, he then left his bedroom well you were sleeping there for the time being

just then his D.D.D began to ring he took it out from his cape then answering 

"Yes hello"

on the other side was the voice of his old friend from their old days in the Celestial realm 

"Simeon, It's Lucifer"

Simeon gave a nod, "good to hear from you, I'm guessing you called for (Y/n)"

on the other side Lucifer gave a sigh, "yes how's she doing"

Simeon smiled, "from what I can see she's quite happy"

"I see....and you I know you're quite pleased with her being there"

Simeon blushed, "well I...yes I am"

Lucifer chuckled, "as I thought, you're in love with her yes"

just then the phone cut off with Lucifer soon appearing next to Simeon in the hallway

"we need to talk"

Lucifer started to walk, with Simeon following "what did you want to discuss"

Lucifer turned looking back at him, "It's about (Y/n)"

Simeon gave him his full attention, but just then Lucifer stopped turning to face his old friend 

"you....you can't be with her"

Simeon sighed, " I know you and your brothers love her too but-"

Lucifer shook his head, "that's not how I meant it....you can never be with her have you forgotten the Celestial realm rules"

Simeon furrowed his brows, "what rules...what're you talking about"

Lucifer walked up to Simeon, firmly grasping his shoulder, "Angels are forbidden from being in romantic relations with humans"

Simeon's eyes widened, as the words fully registered into his mind, he then took a step back 

he looked down, "no...no that can't be...I..."

Lucifer crossed his arms, "I spoke with Diavolo about this...he's sorry as well but...you have to know the truth Simeon...she's human while you're an Angel, it can never be"

Simeon felt an ache in his heart, placing a hand to it he then clenched it, " but...I love her so much...I...I can never take back these feelings...there has to be a way I'll speak with Micheal"

Lucifer sighed, "Micheal would only give you the same thing I'm telling you now listen Simeon...if there's a chance, she feels the same you may only have that"

Simeon turned away, as a tear streaked down his cheek, "I understand..."

Lucifer started to walk but then he felt something, turning back to see Simeon looking on with determination in his eyes, "I'll find a way for me to be with her truly...I won't give up until I do as my love for her is greater than the three realms....with the Almighty as my witness may he have mercy"

Lucifer's lips curved upwards,  "I know..."

Lucifer then turned on his heels, leaving Purgatory Hall but just then you returned with Luke, having many shopping bags in hand, Simeon wiped the stray tear away going to meet you

you turned with a smile, "Simeon"

he smiled, "welcome back, I take it you had a good shopping trip"

Luke beamed, "mhm! we got a lot of good things for tonight's and tomorrows dinner"

Simeon smiled with a nod, then taking the bags from you, "I got this"

you blushed feeling his hands brush against yours, bashfully you then thought to go freshen up so you headed to your temporary quarters known as Simeon's room, taking off your shoes placing them onto the floor neatly, but then something caught your eye, you saw a piece of paper on the bed, you walked over picking it up silently gasping it was a picture someone had drawn of you, there wasn't any signature or anything but still it was wonderful

you smiled admiring the picture, it was completely accurate of how you looked, but just then you turned it over seeing something was written not a name but a little message

*May I take you for a date*

you blushed, but just then the door opened with you turning to see Simeon 

you smiled, "Simeon...look"

you walked over showing him the picture, he then smiled, "It's beautiful....It's you"

you blushed, "yes but...I wonder who drew it also...on the back it would seem they want to take me on a date"

Simeon blushed before he stepped closer, wrapping his arms around you, "I...drew the picture...and if you would I'd like to spend time with you...where it's just us"

you blushed crimson before you started to hug him back, but then thoughts of what Lucifer had told him echoed In his mind, making him hold you closer 

you rubbed his back, feeling that he was trembling, "Simeon...are you alright"

he took a breath, "just...let me stay like this awhile longer"

you put your head on his shoulder, "of course"

he brought his hand up to your hair, "I'd like to spend a day with you but...we can do whatever you'd like is that okay"

you smiled warmly, "yes but...you must have things you'd want to do as well"

he gave you a little space, but still held onto you, "no....the only thing I desire is seeing you happy"

you blushed with your heart starting to pound, he was such a sweetheart, not just because he was an Angel it was one of the things that made you fall for him, he placed a hand on your cheek as a blush rose on his cheeks, he closed his eyes leaning forward placing a gentle kiss onto your forehead, you blushed deeply with him then smiling warmly, letting you go before he left.
