Walks and Naps Chap.32

It was now within your seventh month, the weather had grown colder and In a few days It would be Christmas, in which you and Simeon decided to have dinner together and celebrate with Luke, As Angels they'd always Celebrated It In Celestial Realm so they were excited to celebrate It, especially as you were all a family now, and as you would soon be due too much noise wasn't good for the baby so you couldn't have a huge Christmas party, 

you had finished the pair of socks that you made for the baby, Simeon had been gone for a week to Celestial Realm, still tending to his duties per his agreement with their father, so you had to look after yourself a little bit, and Luke helped you sometimes when It was needed

you'd just gotten done having lunch, Luke had made you a grilled cheese sandwich with some tomato soup, It was very delicious and you enjoyed It, though lately you had been having some thoughts of eating something sour but you didn't much mind It 

you were sitting in the rocking chair now, just as Lucky came to your feet and you smiled as you brought him onto your lap, but then he hopped back down and started to run around 

you giggled, before calling "Luke,"

Luke popped his head around the corner, "Yes?"

you started, "let's take Lucky for a walk"

"Okay!"

Luke then came into the common area, he helped you as you stood up from the chair, you placed a hand on your round stomach as you rubbed It, Luke then went to get your coat for you and he helped you to put it on, and you put on your hat and gloves, before he went to get his own and Lucky's leash while he quickly slipped on a scarf

Luke knelt down, putting the leash on Lucky's collar "come on boy, let's go for a nice walk"

you and Luke then left Purgatory Hall, heading outside into the cold air as you started taking Lucky for a walk, and Luke was on alert since it was just you three and not with Simeon, you'd be very much safer if Simeon was with you but Luke would do his best to protect you

you soon came to the nearby park, and Lucky sniffed around the ground before he tried to go farther and was pulling Luke along, you giggled and sat down on the bench 

you then let out a breath, rubbing your covered stomach as you then took out your gloves to put them on, Luke let Lucky off his leash for a while and they played around for a time 

you then shivered, just as Luke ran over with Lucky in his arms "(Y/n), are you alright is it too cold out here?"

you smiled, "I'm alright, just feeling tired"

"Okay, Lucky's had plenty of running around, we can go home now"

Luke put Lucky down and held on tight to his leash, you gripped the bench as you started to stand up, and Luke helped you steady yourself before you started walking back home

and soon after getting home you went to have a nap, in which Luke decided to bake something In the meantime and about ten minutes in, there came a knock on the door 

Luke dusted flour from his hands, rushing to the Purgatory hall door, opening it 

"Simeon! welcome home"

Simeon smiled, giving his head a pat "Thank you, Is (Y/n) up and around"

"nope, she went to take a nap after we went for a walk"

Simeon nodded, he came inside and closed the door behind him and took off his shoes, Simeon headed to the bedroom quietly as he saw you were sound asleep, a loving smile came to his face as he then walked over to your bedside, he knelt down and brought his hand to your head 

he leaned in and kissed your forehead, he whispered "I'm home, my lamb"

Simeon then touched your blanket covered stomach, he lightly rubbed It as he could sense your little girl, he wanted to leave you to sleep but you started to suddenly rouse awake

you opened your eyes, you then smiled sleepily "Simeon, you're home"

he smiled, taking your hand as he kissed it "yeah, I got back a few minutes ago"

he sat on the bed, you started to sit up and you shared a hug as you then kissed, 

Simeon smiled, "how are you feeling"

"I'm good, and she's doing well too though It's hard to tell"

just then you felt a jerk from inside, and you gasped "Darling, she kicked"

Simeon put his head to your stomach, feeling it again "she did,"

you smiled, "I bet she knows you're back,"

 Simeon chuckled, "maybe"

he touched your stomach, he started talking to it "I'm back home, I missed you and your Mother little one"

Simeon kissed your stomach, before he guided you to lay back down and he brought the blanket over you once more, and he himself went to get on the other side of bed, laying next to you as you started to cuddle together, 

"my lamb"

"hm?"

Simeon kissed your forehead, "I promise, I'll be right with you when you give birth to our baby, but If I can't I'll try to discuss the matter with Father, I'd never want you to go through It alone"

you looked him in the eye, "I know, Simeon I'd love for you to be with me then, but if you aren't able to be there I'd understand It,"

Simeon sighed, "but like I said before, It's not fair to you or our baby"

you touched his cheek, "It'll be hard, and It has been hard during this week without you but...."

"but what love?"

you started, "I can't be selfish, I can't be selfish when It comes to us"

Simeon nodded, "I know, as an Angel I'm not supposed to be that either, but I've broken many of those barriers for an Angel, I wanted and I loved, and I would do It all over again in a heartbeat "

you started tearing up, "Simeon..."

he smiled warmly, he wiped the tear that fell down your cheek and he kissed the area, and you started to have an emotional outburst of tears, "Simeon....I love you so much..."

"I love you just the same my lamb,"

you sniffled, "Simeon...I'm happy to have our baby, I love her, but I'm scared as well...I'm scared..."

Simeon comforted you, "It's going to be alright...I'll be here with you, no matter what...there's nothing to be afraid of I promise, though birth may be scary but you'll do great"

he held you closer, pressing some kisses to your head as he continued to comfort you.
