Prayers for Courtship Chap.8

-For those of you who are Religious please don't attack me and If you're not Religious I apologize this chapter involves mentions of prayer as the title says 

After you left from Simeon's side he looked out at the lake for a little bit watching the moonlight reflect off the ripples he was frustrated at himself he wasn't able to tell you or maybe he never could he put a hand to his heart clutching his shirt his heart was breaking he loved you so much and yet he couldn't be with you he thought long and hard about what he might be risking if he were to confess his love he might fall from grace...he might lose you the possibilities were endless it seemed that this love had nothing but bad endings in store but even so he couldn't just give up or forget about his feelings because you were worth it...he loved his job even though his immortality was lonely he loved living in the Celestial realm as an Angel but if he had to give that up to be with you he would and he knew he could only try to speak to one person about this for a better way where he could still be an Angel allowed to love you and that person was The Almighty....the most high Simeon used his power transporting himself back to Purgatory hall 

he went to his room then snapping his finger changing back into his Angel attire he then tucked his hairs behind his ears then walking over to his bed getting down onto his knees soon clasping his hands as he whispered under his breath before he spoke allowed as emotions washed over him tears streaked down his cheeks "Please...Please allow me to love her...I beg you....even if it's just from afar she's my everything....I know we Angels are forbidden from loving Humans but I believe it was good fate that led my heart to her...please forgive me if by choosing to be with her I'm going against the heavens... I'll leave it to your judgement" 

he then wiped his tears away coming to stand on his feet just then his bedroom door creaked open, and he looked to see Luke standing there with tears in his eyes

"Who...who told you the truth"

Simeon sighed "Lucifer"

Luke hiccuped as he started to cry "b...but you...what're you going to do...by being with (Y/n) you may lose...oh Simeon...."

Simeon smiled warmly he walked over getting down to Luke's level patting his head 

"Don't worry...I'll be alright " 

Luke silently gasped but then he brought him into a hug "throughout our centuries of living theirs been miracles...as long as I keep hope and faith In my heart...everything will work out alright..."

Luke nodded slowly "that's true...."

he then broke out of Simeon's hug wiping his tears "Okay but what'll you do now"

Simeon smiled "I'll tell (Y/n) of my love and If then I haven't been deposed as an Angel then I'll know"

he stood up and gave Luke one last pat on the head before he left his bedroom.
