Visits with Diavolo Chap.31

A few days later....

you and Simeon decided to go visit Diavolo, as It had been a while since you talked or hung out together and the last time was at the Gender Reveal Party, Diavolo had become a little busy as well so it wasn't convenient for you all to meet, but upon telling of your wanting to visit Diavolo made time to have tea with you both, and offer his Congratulations once again on you having a girl, the weather had gotten cooler and after a while it would become the fall,

after putting on your warmer clothes you and Simeon left Purgatory Hall, Simeon used his powers to transport you both to the Demon Lord's Castle, and Barbatos came to receive you 

he smiled with a bow, "It's nice to see you both again, please come in the young master Is waiting for you"

you and Simeon followed Barbatos, Simeon helped you up the staircase as you walked,

"are you alright my lamb, should I carry you?"

you smiled, "I'm alright darling, don't worry"

you soon made It up the stairs as you then followed Barbatos down the hall, making a left as you came to one of the castles rooms, it was like an old-fashioned drawing room 

Barbatos opened the door, you and Simeon went inside as you saw Diavolo already seated 

he stood up, "Welcome you two, please have a seat"

you and Simeon went to sit down at the table, just as Barbatos brought over a cart of tea, he picked up Simeon's cup and filled It with some hot tea 

Diavolo smiled, "so, how have you been, I hope all Is well with the baby"

you smiled with a nod, "I've been good, and everything is fine"

"that's good to hear"

Barbatos then started picking up your cup, but then "Barbatos, thank you, but I can't drink tea right now, the doctor said It's not good for the baby"

he smiled, "not to worry, I prepared some hot chocolate for you Instead"

"Oh, thank you Barbatos"

Simeon chuckled a little, "prepared as ever I see"

he then handed you the teacup of hot chocolate, you blew on it before having a sip and It was very nice, you then started to remember "dear, this just reminded me of our Ice-skating date we had before"

Simeon smiled, "I remember, we had a lot of fun that day"

you giggled, "It was, I struggled but you skated beautifully"

you then rubbed your stomach and Simeon placed his hand atop yours, you looked at each other lovingly and this brought a smile to Diavolo's face 

"you two, I can see your love is just as strong as ever and this child is more proof of that, you know this will the first ever half human and half Angel baby In history"

Simeon nodded, "yeah, It's kind of amazing"

Diavolo sipped his tea, "when are you due?"

you started thinking, "I believe the doctor said, sometime In February"

Diavolo smiled, "that's a nice date, do be careful during that time as It'll still be winter, I heard that Celestial Realm was bustling recently"

Simeon nodded, "It has become busy, but also everyone's celebrating (Y/n) and I"

you had another sip of your hot chocolate, just as Diavolo started "If you may need anything please don't hesitate to ask me"

you smiled, "Thank you Lord Diavolo"

He smiled, "of course, you and Simeon are among my dear friends I should do whatever I can to help you,"

Diavolo then sounded serious, "but I must let you both know something, as this child will be half of you both It may be dangerous for her potentially, especially with the demons who aren't so friendly towards humans or Angels, they might want to harm the both of them"

you started to feel a little fearful, looking at Simeon and he reassuringly touched your hand

"I know, I'll do all I can within my power to protect the baby and (Y/n)" said Simeon 

Diavolo nodded, "That's good, and will do what I can to ensure that your child grows up safely here"

"Thank you, we appreciate that"

Diavolo then changed the topic to something lighter and happier, and Barbatos brought some sweets that he'd made, you ate a slice of his specialty cake with your hot chocolate

"I don't know why, but I've been craving a lot of sweets lately" you said

Simeon smiled, "the doctor did say that can happen when you're with child"

you giggled, "yes, but I used to hear It was sour foods instead"

you all continued to chat for a while longer, before you started to feel a headache come on

"what's the matter love" asked Simeon

you massaged your temple, "another headache I think"

he rubbed your back, "would you like to go home?"

you nodded, before turning to Diavolo "I'm sorry Lord Diavolo, but we'll have to cut the visit short for now"

"don't worry I understand pregnancy can be taxing, you should take care of yourself first and have some rest"

Simeon helped you to stand, and he helped you put your jacket back on, and you bid your goodbyes to Diavolo before leaving for back home.
