Wedding Planning Chap.22

A few days later, Springtime had finally arrived and planning for your wedding had begun, you and Simeon were excited, but you had to plan everything right and in orderly fashion you'd divide certain things that needed to be done first before last, and the first thing on the list was your wedding dress you headed out shopping for it with Asmo's help, you decided to go to a bridal boutique In the human realm as to see more options, you and Simeon had discussed where the wedding would be and you chose an old fashion chapel wedding, and you were told that the one to Officiate the Ceremony would be Michael himself, even though the ceremony would take place In such a sacred setting the brother's would be allowed to attend, only if they wore Celestial attire which was the one condition, all else would be permitted as It's been so long since Michael had seen them, upon arriving In the human realm Asmodeus looked up the best Bridal boutiques In the area before scouting them out, Luke tagged along as well 

you went to the first boutique, white wedding dresses were everywhere and beautiful, Asmodeus went to already grab a few off the rack for you to try on, you looked at the option's he'd picked up they were all different, you decided to head to the dressing rooms 

taking the dresses with you while they waited, Inside the dressing room you took off your blouse and skirt, then slipping into the first dress zipping It up, it was a strapless sweetheart neckline with a mermaid silhouette, you looked in the mirror doing a rotation you actually didn't like the strapless nature of It, but you picked up the skirts walking out the dressing room

Asmodeus's eyes sparkled "You look beautiful!"

you smiled, "Thank you, Luke what do you think"

he smiled "It's nice but...It doesn't feel like you"

you nodded "I agree, I'll go try another"

you picked up the skirt, walking back into the dressing room as you then changed into another dress, it was long and dragged the floor like a ballgown, It was very beautiful but seemed to be a bit too much, the straps were off shoulder It made you feel a little better then the last one

you picked up the skirts walking outside, Asmodeus jumped up "Omg! you're like a princess"

Luke put up his hand, "It's nice, It's a little more you"

you nodded, "I like It much better than the last one, but this Isn't the one for me"

you went back into the dressing room, just as Asmodeus handed you a few more dresses, you tried on at least five more until you found the one, with the dress In hand you went to the saleswoman who then checked It out for you, she neatly put It into an garment bag for you before you paid for It with the money needed, afterwards you went back to the Devildom as to put the dress away before moving onto the decorations for the reception.

Your Fiancé was busy talking with Barbatos about the wedding cake and feast, Simeon decided that he'd make the wedding cake himself, when he looked at the guest list there weren't that many mouths to feed so he'd make a four-tier wedding cake, nothing too extravagant but he'd be generous with the decorations and such, he started to think about what flavor for It 

"Alright, which one should I choose"

he'd made five quick small cakes with different flavors, Vanilla bean, Chocolate, Strawberry, Marble and Coconut, he then called for Beelzebub to help him decide

"so I just need to try all of these, and tell which is the best one"

Simeon smiled, "Yep, that's It"

Beelzebub picked up a slice of the Marble, he then scoffed the whole thing down "The Marble Is really good, but....It's less sweet"

he then picked up the strawberry, eating the slice whole, "I really like the fruity taste, but It's too sweet"

Beel moved on to the chocolate and vanilla bean, scoffing them both down "They're really good, but something's missing"

lastly the coconut was left, he picked up the slice having a bite "Wow! that's exactly what was missing, It has the right sweetness and It melts In your mouth"

"Really, this is my first time making a coconut cake,"

Simeon got another slice for himself, he picked up the fork taking a bite, his blue eyes glittered

"you're right! It's amazing, okay this is the one"

he and Beelzebub high fived, before the taste tester started to devour the entire coconut cake, Simeon wrote down the choice of wedding cake, he looked to the clock realizing he had to leave quickly to meet up with Lucifer, he'd be going to pick out his suit for the ceremony, he told Beelzebub to help himself to the cakes as he then changed his attire, to his human realm look before he transported himself there, he met Lucifer outside of shop for suit's

"Hope I'm not late"

Lucifer shook his head, "no you're right on time"

just as Lucifer was about to reach for the door, Simeon stopped him "Just a moment"

Lucifer turned, "what's wrong?"

"Nothing I just wanted to say thank you, for supporting (Y/n) and I"

Lucifer smiled, "there's no need for thanks, she is someone I deeply care for as family and you, I haven't forgotten our brotherhood from my Celestial realm days"

Simeon smiled, "Neither have I, which is why I want to ask, will you be the best man and host for the reception"

Lucifer paused, "Me? you'd like me to"

Simeon nodded, a smile then came to his old friend's face "It would be my pleasure".
