Miguel's fight began, and Xander was a tough opponent. Finley could hear the "not a soccer mom" yelling things to Xander throughout the match, even over the roaring of the crowd. It was 2-1 and Miguel looked like he was ready to fight whoever they put across from him.

"Come on Miguel you got this!" Finley yelled, her legs beginning to bounce in nerves.

The round started with Miguel heavily on offense, sending a lot of punches Xander's way. And then Xander did a kip up, causing Miguel to back up and allowing Xander to go on the attack. He relied a lot more heavily on kicks, but from her research Finley knew kicks were a lot easier to accidentally telegraph to your opponent. Xander did some fancy flip, but Miguel was prepared and nailed him in the torso with a spinning roundhouse kick. The referee held Miguel's hand up in the air, announcing him the winner.

Finley was on her feet clapping and cheering. "YEAH SPIDEY!"

Demetri looked up at her with a slightly concerned look on his face. As Finley sat back in her seat, the grin still on her face, she looked over and saw Demetri staring at her.

"What?"

Demetri shook his head. "You're just insane."

The grin didn't leave her face. "Jury's still out."

Hawk's fight was announced before Demetri finally realized. "Are you quoting Avengers again?"

Finley tried to hold back a laugh, but failed miserably. "That took you way too long."

Her gaze focused on the fight in front of her. Even from her seat in the stands she could see the cocky smirk on Hawk's face. The fight began and Hawk quickly went to attack Robby, but the boy sent out a kick, forcing Hawk back. He had to go on the defensive to block all of Robby's kicks, but when he saw an opening he took it, getting close enough to Robby to throw him onto the ground and struck him with a punch in the gut.

They reset, Robby looking a little shaken before he did some weird breathing technique thing to refocus. This time Hawk launched the first kick, but Robby easily deflected him. The round was short as Robby got him down with a reverse spinning crescent kick to the face.

Finley watched as Hawk stood up and got in Robby's face, but from where she sat, she couldn't hear what was being said. But she could see the anger on Hawk's face as Robby turned to walk away. And she definitely saw as Hawk went and kicked Robby in the back of his shoulder. A gasp rose from the crowd along with some booing as the referee quickly intervened and got Hawk off the mat; he was disqualified.

"What the heck dude?" Finley breathed out.

Her heart had dropped to her stomach. She had no idea what had been said, but she found it hard to believe anything would have deserved that level of unnecessary violence. Her gaze followed him as he walked away and Miguel yanked him off of the mat, anger evident on his face. Whatever that was, it wasn't something that was supposed to happen.

There was going to be a 10 minute break while Robby was seen by a medic and determined whether or not he could fight in the finals. If he couldn't, Miguel would get an automatic win.

Finley got to her feet. "I'm gonna get a pretzel, you want anything?"

Demetri looked up at her and shook his head. But Moon stood up and smiled at her. "I'll come with."

Great. Finley gave her a small smile and they walked out to the concourse. They got in line at one of the food stands and Finley focused on getting the money out of her wallet.

"So how come you're not doing karate?"

Finley glanced over at Moon who stood beside her, looking at her curiously, and she shrugged. "Guess it's just not really my thing."
