After suddenly showing up in the middle of my afternoon
   schedule brief and busting down the doors of my room, the Saint
   of Light is now grabbing me by the shoulders and looking at me
   with intense eyes.

   “Okay, it’s important, so I’ll say it again. If you don’t come
   to interfere with my life, I won’t be able to enter your Route,
   Marshall!” she shouted, explaining why she’d protested the
   proposal’s rejection.

   Yeah, I’ve got plenty of questions, such as how Jade came to
   know about the nature of the complainant, how the Saint managed
   to break into the Dark Faction’s headquarters, and so on. But
   for now, let’s get to the important business.

   “… What do you mean, you can’t start my Route?”

   As I’d completely cleared the game, I understood what the Saint
   of Light was saying. Still, I decided to feign ignorance.

   One of the selling points of the game was that it had a
   complete Yuri Route.

   However, it was a little contentious whether or not a beautiful
   woman dressed as a man would count as a “Yuri” relationship…
   but let’s not argue about the definition of a “Yuri Romance”
   for now.

   Anyway, the Route with the Marshall of Darkness can be entered
   by telling her that you wish to get to know her better. And if
   you successfully enter the Marshall’s route, the Marshall will…

   Witness the Saint of Light get involved in the internal
   political struggles of the Light Faction, and the Marshall will
   save her from them while cursing her out…

   There will be several events where they meet by chance in the
   city and the Marshall’s attitude towards her gradually softens…

   And eventually, when the Saint of Light is threatened by both
   the Light and Dark Faction’s forces, the Marshall will save
   from them at the cost of her life…

   Or so it’s supposed to go, more or less.

   Moreover, the CG’s during the events where the Marshall saves
   the Saint are impeccably drawn, and it seems that the female
   fans who just rushed through the Route to 100% the game ended
   up getting seriously invested in it.

   However, Mika was gunning for the Marshall of Darkness (me)
   from the very beginning… but let’s leave that aside. Even if I
   remember it, it’s not going to help me now.

   Will all that being said, I don’t know if the game company
   expected it or not, but even against the other Handsome Boys on
   the lineup, the Marshall of Darkness (me) won 4^th place in the
   official popularity vote.

   So, in the original version of this world, the Saint of Light
   is unlikely to be pushing for the Marshall of Darkness (me)…

   “That’s why I’ve decided that I want to fall in love with you!”

   … No, it seems she was definitely gunning for the Marshall of
   Darkness (me).

   I suppose I had escaped from reality for a moment, the Saint of
   Light gave me an intense look and mercilessly dragged me back
   from my mind.

   No, it’s not just her eyes that are powerful, but also her grip
   strength on my shoulders… honestly, it hurts so much that I’m
   about to cry. But I endure because if I burst into tears here,
   that might destroy the Saint’s image of the Marshall.
