Chap 23 - Make a move

While I'm on my way to the class, I saw Jaemin in front of Beomgyu's class patting the boy's head. Beomgyu makes faces then Jaemin laughs. Looking at the view makes my heart ache a bit. It seems those two getting close now. Why am I feel angry when looking at them? I should go now before Jaemin sees me.

Recess time...

Third POV

It's recess time and everybody starts to empty the classroom and went straight to the cafeteria. Usually, at this time they (HeuningKai & Soobin) will eat lunch together. But this time seems it not gonna happen for a while. Just right after the bell rang Soobin quickly get his things and rushed out of the classroom without even looking at the latter. It's obvious that he purposely avoids HeuningKai. Throughout this morning until now Soobin never utters a word to Kai same goes for the boy. At this point, there is no use if he tries to slow talk with Soobin it would not solve their problems and will add to his stress. He knows Soobin is still mad at him and will continue silent treatment to him not until he apologized to Beomgyu. So, what he's gonna do now is to focus on his plan by making sure Beomgyu accepts his apology and became close to him.

After the boy was gone from his sight, Kai monologued to himself "Oh Soobinnie, you just wait, this gonna get more interesting, way more than just a cheap apologized" with that evil smirk Kai went out straight to the cafeteria to make his first move.

At the cafeteria...

Beomgyu & Taehyun are already in the front line waiting their turn to take the food. There are about 3 to 4 people in front of them. The two boys decide to eat a lunch dish that is prepared by the school cafeteria because the menu today seems appetizing to their taste. 

(note: the dish prepared by the school cafeteria is free. They usually just buy food from kiosks [small booths] around the cafeteria)

"Today's dish looks promising isn't it Taehyun? We always eat ramyeon and tteobokki for lunch because the menu is always not appealing to us." I wonder if the chef has changed?

"Hmm, I think so, anyway, it's been a quite long since the last time we eat school dishes right? Sometimes you need to change your mood. Eating the same thing every day can get you bored though. Let's hope it's good."

"Yup! you're right. Ahh, can't wait to dig in that hot stew!"🤩

While waiting in line, someone is suddenly tapping Beomgyu's shoulder from behind.

"Yow, Gyu! Tae!"

Beomgyu turns his back followed by Taehyun. "Oh? Yeonjun Hyung!"

"Can I join lunch with you guys today?" said Yeonjun.

"Sure Hyung! why not! It's been a decade since we didn't eat together" said Taehyun jokingly at the end of his word.

"Yah! isn't that too much Taehyun-ah???" Yeonjun gives an unsatisfied face while pushing Taehyun playfully. The two boys chuckle.

"Eh, do you guys already find a place/table to eat?" Yeonjun asked.

"Ahh no, not yet Hyung... we really excited to try a new menu, that we forgot to find a seat hehe," said Beomgyu while scratching his head.

"Yeah right, we're afraid the dish might finish if we late get in the line," Taehyun continues.

"Oh, it's okay. If that's so, I'll find a place/table for us," Offers Yeonjun.

"Thank you, Hyung! ," said the boys. Yeonjun left to find seats, and the two boys took their food.

A few minutes later, the two boys bring their food straight to the table where Yeonjun is seating at.
