Chap 8 - Weekend

Soobin POV

Today is Sunday, and the weather seems nice while I looking outside the window. I grab my towel and go to the bathroom to clean myself. After a few minutes of showering, I exit from the bathroom and reach my speaker. I put on maximum volume and play "Our Summer" by Tomorrow x Together. The song suit today's vibe. While listening, I wear a grey t-shirt with sweatpants. As I combing my hair suddenly my phone vibrating, I look at the phone screen it is Kai who sends me a message.

I forgot today I should go to Kai's house to discuss our assignment. How can I forget? Ah~ today it supposedly I spending my time relaxing at home while finishing my novel reading. Maybe I can do it next time when I free. The assignment is more important. 

"Sobinnie~~~ let's eat, breakfast is ready!" shouted my brother from downstairs.

"Nae!!!, I will come down give me a sec!" I shouted back at my brother.

I hurriedly packed my things in my bag and went straight into the kitchen. I take a seat and look at the table my brother has prepared kimchi fried rice, rice rolled and pancake for breakfast. Oh! do not forget MY favourite drink 'ALMOND MILK'! hehe~ My brother loves to cook and all his dishes are so~ delicious... he always intends to cook many dishes, not that I don't like it. It is just only two of us in this big house. How are we supposed to finish all the food? But don't worry, sometimes when we have more leftover we give to our neighbour or our maid when they come to clean our house. 

I have already considered my brother as my mother since my parents divorced and our mom left us for another man. So, we live with our father. But, 2 years later our father left us because of heart failure. Since then, my brother has raised me and became a part of my parent. Okay, enough of my sad story. Past is past, now is present we should move on right? For a better future. So, continue my story... my brother has joined me eating at the table and I want to ask him to send me to Kai's house.
