Miles, Riley, and I were in groups. The street lights guided us home as we wandered aimlessly. Eventually we saw a familiar street. I checked the time on my phone and saw that it was 2:23 AM.
"Shit, guys, we gotta hurry back home!" I said.
Canada, Russia, and America stayed behind me. I said goodbye to Miles and Riley as we ran back home. I opened the front gate leading to my house, walking into the front yard. I looked at the garage roof and thought about how I would get up. I saw a ladder in the garage near my parent's car. I grabbed the ladder and put it on the side of the garage.
"Uhh, we could just walk inside-" Canada said.
"No, my parents would wake up. I don't want to get yelled at again." I said, climbing up the ladder. "Besides, the front door and the garage door are locked."
"Oh." Canada replied.
When I got onto the roof, I took off my shoes and moved to the side so that America could get up. His foot slipped and almost fell down, but I helped him up.
Once everybody was on the roof, I guided them to my room. I opened the window and jumped into my room, opening my bedroom door and ripping the note off of the door and shoving it in my desk drawer. I turned on the light and helped the countries get in. "Sorry for the mess, I wasn't expecting people to be here." I said.
"Oh, it's alright!" Canada said.
After a few minutes, I heard taps on the roof. I looked out of the window and saw that it was raining.

I felt wet droplets on my arms along with a cold breeze.
"Miles, we gotta go home quick, it might rain." I said. We started walking faster. Soon, it was raining and everyone was running, trying not to get wet. I covered my eyes with my hair, trying not to get my eyes wet. I didn't want to look like I just got done crying or a heartbroken bride. South Korea, Italy, and France were right behind me. We ran into my backyard and walked inside through the back door. I told South Korea, France, and Italy to be quiet or they would wake up my dog, Loona. One wrong move and you could send her on a rampage, and she might bite your hand off. Her nickname is Loonie, I had gotten the name from Helluva Boss.
I lead the countries into my room. I wiped my makeup off and took off my bracelets and shoes. I took off my hair extensions. My actual hair goes down to my chin. I turned on my hair dryer and dried off my hair. France looked at me, surprised.
"Woah." She said, I smiled at her reaction. South Korea was admiring the posters hung up on the walls. Italy was, too.
"So," I said, getting their attention. "I'm gonna find some clothes for y'all to wear so you won't have to sleep in your clothes." I said. I went into my closet and grabbed some clothes that I didn't wear anymore. I laid them out on my bed. "Choose an outfit for the night if you want." I said. "Maybe we could go to the mall and get yall some new clothes sometime. Sounds good?" I asked.
"Yeah!" South Korea replied.
I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I came back, the countries had already picked outfits. South Korea had a baggy gray hoodie and light gray sweatpants, France had a white tank top and black shorts, and Italy had a white t-shirt and light gray shorts. They all got dressed in the bathroom one by one as I laid out blankets and pillows on the floor from my closet.
When everyone was done, they looked at the bedding on the floor.
"I'm sorry, that's all I got." I said.
"Hey, it's alright!" South Korea said, smiling. "It's really nice that you're doing all of this for us."
I smiled. I started to like him, he was nice.
I looked at the clock and saw it was past 2:40 AM.
"We should get to sleep, it's really late." I said.

I was the only one left walking, since my house was the farthest from everybody else's. The 5 of us were sprinting through the rain as fast as we could.
Eventually, we made it to my house. It was near the end of the street, so it would usually take a while to get there. We walked through the gravel parking lot, which made a lot of noise. I opened the gate, leading into the backyard. We ran quickly onto the porch and opened the back door and walked inside. I took my shoes off and set them next to the doorway, and the countries did the same. I backed away a bit from the countries before I shook my head side to side, trying to get all of the rain out of my hair. I was a bit dizzy afterwards, but I purged the dizziness and said "Alright, let's go to my room."
I lead the countries upstairs into my room. I turned the light on and walked inside, closing my window since it was cold. I sat on my bed and we all talked for a little bit before everything went so silent, you could hear a pin drop.
"Is anybody else really tired?" I asked, finally breaking the silence.
"Yeah.." Japan replied, struggling to keep her eyes open.
"I'm gonna set up some pillows and blankets on the floor so that y'all actually have a place to sleep." I said. I went out into the hallway and opened a closet , which had spare pillows and blankets. I grabbed the pillows and blankets and went back into my room, placing them down on the floor next to my bed.
"I don't have anything else, so here you go." I said.
"It's fine. I don't mind sleeping on floors." Japan said. I smiled weakly in response. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. After I got done, I went back into my bedroom and collapsed onto my bed. I closed my eyes and listened to the countryhumans talk. 'Is this some weird fever dream? I don't know!!' I thought.
I opened my eyes and didn't hear talking, and it was dark. I sat up, realizing that I had fallen asleep. I noticed that one of the countries was missing. 'Germany.' I thought. 'I'm gonna get a glass of water and hope I find him.'
I got up out of bed, being careful not to wake any of the sleeping countries. My bedroom door was opened, which confirmed that he was awake. I walked out of my room and into the living room, where I found Germany sitting, curled up into a ball on the floor.
"Are you okay, buddy?" I asked.
Germany looked up at me, then looked back down to the floor. "What if my dad is out there..?" Germany asked.
"Your dad?" I asked, confused. "Who is your dad?" I asked, trying not to sound rude.
"Third Reich.." Germany said, his voice small. "What if he escaped? What if he's out there, looking for me?! What if he kills more people?!" He asked, becoming more stressed out every second.
I looked at Germany with concern. "I think... Well, maybe if he was killing more people, then it would surely be on the news.." I said.
"If he found out I was hanging out with humans, I'd be dead for sure." Germany said. "And you'd be dead, too. And I don't want you to die, even though I barely know you." He said.
I smiled, but it quickly faded when I looked up at the clock. It was almost 5 AM.
"Let's.. Let's just go to bed." I said, standing up. We both walked back to my room and got back in our beds.
