[Y/N]'s POV

~  ~  ~  ~  ~

I was shaken awake by the sound of yelling and police sirens from up above. We heard the door leading to the basement open and saw cops walking in. They unlocked all of our prison cells, and hesitated to open the former country's cells.
We were all free. Miles, Riley and I ran upstairs to see all of the 'scientists' in handcuffs. I saw Russia running over to me, saying "They got caught! They got caught!"
"Who got caught?" I asked him.
"The scientists! They're faking their identities! They're not scientists they're just obsessed with us!" Russia answered, cheerfully. He had a big smile on his face. I smiled and giggled softly, seeing America and Canada walking over to us.
"How does it feel to think that we're finally free?" America asked.
"I feel like screaming of happiness." I responded, grinning.

The six of us ran out of the building, running back home. Riley and Miles had the countries they were staying with. They bonded with them well, as well as me with Canada, Russia and America.
When we reached the street that our houses were on. Miles, Riley and I said goodbye to each other before group hugging. After that was over, I went inside my house, Russia, America and Canada following me from behind. I saw my mom in the kitchen, who looked hollow before she saw me. She looked at me before tears filled her eyes. Mom walked over to me, smiling.
"I'm glad you're okay." She said before hugging me. "I'm sorry." She said.
"It's okay. We all make mistakes." I said, hugging her back. We hugged for a few more seconds before she pulled away and looked at the countries. She sighed and said "I'm sorry for the way I acted. I should've known better."
America, Canada, and Russia all looked at each other, and nodded before America said "We forgive you. Everybody fucks up every now and then."
Mom smiled at America before dad walked into the room, saw me, and tears met his eyes, too.
"You're okay!" Dad exclaimed, pulling me into a hug. I hugged him back, of course.

I went up into my room, bringing the countries with me, of course. We watched YouTube together, laughing at old Vines and people playing horror games. It was the most fun I had in my life with people.

Later that day, the four of us walked around the neighborhood. The sun was setting, so we walked away from the sun, because nobody wants to look at a very bright light for longer then 1 second.

We walked into the forest and saw the former 'countries' sitting where we camped before, but Fascist Italy was missing. Soviet was sitting on a tree stump, while Imperial Japan and Third Reich were sitting on the ground. The three looked at us. Their faces were cracked and some parts of their faces were missing. They looked like broken porcelain dolls. I backed away a little bit before Third Reich collapsed on the ground. Imperial Japan panicked. She was mumbling to herself while Soviet just watched. Eventually, Imperial Japan collapsed as well. Now it was just Soviet.
"Pathetic, isn't it?" Soviet said with a twinge of amusement in his voice.
I shrugged in response while the three countries stayed still. Soviet stood up, walking over to us. Russia, Canada, America and I backed away quickly. Soviet stopped walking as he realized that we were scared of him.
"I'm not going to hurt you." Soviet said. His voice was softer then it was before.
"Is that a lie?" Russia asked.
Soviet shook his head. We were all hesitant on if we should approach Soviet or not. Russia walked up slowly to Soviet hesitantly. They talked a little bit before deciding that Soviet was safe to be around.

We now had Soviet in our little group and walked around the forest  for a little bit. We explored parts of the forest that we had never got to see before. We talked for a bit before Soviet started to look worried. He was looking at his hands, which I noticed were falling apart slowly.
Soviet sighed sadly. "I don't have much time left." He said, looking down at the ground.
Russia sighed and smiled weakly.
"Take care of them for me." Soviet said before his face began falling apart.
Russia stood up quickly and rushed over to Soviet with tears in his eyes. "Please don't leave me.." Russia said.
Soviet just smiled and closed his eyes peacefully as his whole body fell apart

Russia cried over Soviet for a little bit before we decided to go back home. It took us a while to find our way our of the forest, but when we did, we ran back to my place. We went inside my house and ran upstairs to my room. We comforted Russia, telling him that's it's okay. He stopped crying after a while and listened to music. We all listened to music that we all liked throughout the night.

When the clock hit 3:29 AM, I looked over at the countries as one of Canada's favorite songs ended. I paused the music and sighed.
"It's been a hell of a ride being with you three." I said as I smiled.
"Yeah." America said and chuckled. "But it was a fun ride!" He said, cheerfully.
"Mhm! I'm glad we found you when we did. We would most likely be dead by now if it weren't for you." Canada said.
Russia nodded and smiled.
"I glad I found you guys when I did. You all make me feel happy along with Miles and Riley. I'm glad that you guys exist." I said, tearing up a bit.
I began to feel a bit lightheaded as the countries and I pulled into a group hug. I started to see colors when we pulled away.
"Guys..?" I said. Everything was muffled. I felt my body falling before everything went dark.
