Draco walked down the corridor, making his way to the library. You and Draco had study sessions every week. You would both go to the library, catch up on homework or study for a test, then go walk each other back to your dorms.
This tradition started in last year, where Draco's grades were rubbish and needed help. You first started out as being his tutor, instructed by Professor Snape. Over time, you both became fond of each other's company, and decided to make it a weekly thing. Obviously, you both hung out outside of the library, but in the library, it was just you two together. No Blaise or Pansy, just Draco and you. He fancied you, a lot actually. Draco tried showing you how much he liked you, by giving you little gifts, like a bracelet or a pretty flower. To him, you never seemed interested.
You left for the library a little bit earlier then usual. Eager to start your Astronomy project, you left your dorm with your parchment and quill. You sat close to the back of the library, where you usually sat with Draco. You took out all your notes, drawings of constellations and phases of the moon, and list of books you would need to borrow. Leaving your papers out, you got up and looked around the library for your books.
Draco soon made it, not that long after you left your table. He made his way to the back, searching for your y/h/c head. He noticed your table, with all its papers, and placed his satchel across the table. Draco looked over to see what you were working on, and admired your work. He looked around, assuming you'd be close by, then set off to find his own book.
Draco walked through the shelves of books, browsing the different titles. He then turned the corner and saw you with a handful of Astronomy books. Draco's lips formed into a small smile, watching how how cute you looked.
With your simple floral skirt, large cream jumper, round glasses and doc martens, he thought you looked splendid. It wasn't any different form what you'd wear normally, but Draco thought you looked bewitching.

You hadn't noticed Draco staring, too focused on your books. He quietly came up behind you, grabbing the book you were reaching for. "You're too short." Draco teased, handing the book to you. "And you're too obnoxious." You joked while walking back to your table. "Obnoxious am I?"
"Yes, very." He chuckled, taking his seat. You put down your books and opened the top one. "Nothing to work on?" You looked up from your page, seeing Draco flip through a novel. He shook his head, not lifting his head. You shrugged and got back to your textbook.
You were working up a storm, too focused to notice anyone around you. If you did, you would've noticed Draco staring at you, a light smile still stuck on his face. He watched you scribble notes and flip through pages, then scribble notes again. Draco's eyes were picking up every detail about you, to the heart earrings you wore, to the silver necklace you wore. It didn't look like anything you'd worn before, he always noticed your jewelry. You felt his intense gaze on your neck, "Problem?" you looked up. "Who got you that?" He took his wand he was once fiddling with and lifted the chain of the necklace. "I've never got you a necklace before."
