'S t a r e'

"Hm..? Mhm."

'S t a r e . .'

"... I can feel you staring at me Yakko.. stop it." I looked up from my book to see the cartoon resting his hand on his cheek whilst his elbow sat on his leg. He looked rather bored and a bit annoyed.

"Me staring? Never.." he answered in an annoyed tone, that caught my attention.

I sighed softly, putting my book away and turning my attention towards him. He slowly set his hand down looking into my eyes with a bit of glee.

I smiled

"You just wanted my attention, huh?" I teased, motioning him to come my way. He mumbled as a blush crept upon his face.

"You were reading that book for a long time.. thought you would never take your eyes off it.. heh.." he set his head on my chest relaxing his body on mine.

I rubbed the back of his head

"You know I love reading.."

"I know.. but do you love it more than me?" He asked lifting his head. He scooted away from me looking deeply into my eyes, a bit intimidating. I scoffed

"Tch, maybe.." I joked, covering my laugh. Yakko frowned flicking me in the forehead. I yelped in pain rubbing my wounded area.

"What was that forrr!?"

"That was the wrong answer.. hmph.." he crossed his arms, and shook his head. I groaned for a bit before apologizing to him.

"Sorry sorry jeez, I was playing.." I ran my fingers through his fur ontop of his head, then rubbed his ears softly.

His tail wagged a little when I did that, I grinned.

"Looks like someone is happy.."

"Mmhm.." he scooted closer towards me again, resting his head on my chest with him in the middle between my legs.

I rubbed his ears some more as his tail moved slowly, and even heard him make small purrs making me squeal.

"Apology accepted.. now just keep petting me.. hmph.." he curled up more on me getting comfortable, I leaned on my pillow, letting him lean on me more as I continue to pet him.

"Anything for my prince." I giggled.
