Breaking Barriers

Jessica v Victor

"I kicked a witch's ass earlier, your eyes aren't gonna scare me." She approaches the man before swinging a punch into him before crying out in pain upon impact before the man lifts her up and throws her against the wall of glasses behind the counter, shattering them as alcohol spills all over her.

"Not impressed." He blatantly says, phasing through the counter before lifting her up and pushes her through the wall at the speed of a bullet, smashing into a car.

She falls down on the pavement with blood oozing from her mouth and winches as her entire body throbs in pain, pushing herself up to see Victor waking towards her rolling up with sleeves of his shirt with a smirk.

"Oh I don't think I ever had the courtesy of delivering a beating onto someone else in a fight, usually something got in the way." He says as she gets back up and raises her fists ready to fight making him mockingly chuckle.

"Come on, you really think you can beat me?"

"Your accent is seriously pissing me off!" She slams a left hook into him, his head jerking to the side without pain and keep punching across his face till he grabs the next blow and presses into it causing her to grit her teeth.

"Being a Synthozoid has it's many benefits, including being resistant to pain against people beneath me." He grabs her wrists and levitates into the air before headbutting her into a asphalt crater, blood trickling down her face as she looks up to see him becoming enraged.

"Go on then Jessica, get angry! He taunts at her, landing back down gesturing her to approach him.

Jessica yells, flying at him with a fast punch only pushing him back a inch before he puts Jessica into a bear hug from behind, increasing his density as he begins to crush Jessica against the weight.

"Isn't this lovely Jessica?" He sadistically grins as Jessica cries out in pain, feeling ribs on the verge of breaking till a gunshot rings out.

He turns around to see Jimmy Woo aiming his pistol at him with a serious expression on his face and Victor laughs, dropping Jessica on the ground.

"Didn't think Westview had a security guard patrolling around the place?" He asks floating over towards him as Woo begins to back up nervously.

"Leave him alone!" Jessica coughs out, looking over to see Woo being cornered into a wall by the Synthozoid who's eyes begin to glow menacingly.

"Consider this permanent termination." Victor says as Jimmy braces himself for the worst and Jessica shouts out for him to stop but falls to deaf ears.

Back at the Wanda Residence

"Something feels wrong." Wanda states seriously, focusing away from Spider-Man as if trying to listen around her like Matt Murdock before picking up the faint sounds of fire crackling from burning wood.

She walks outside with Spider-Man behind her, looking out to see a trail of smoke in the distance and flies over there with her powers and Spidey having to jog his way behind her.

She lands down to see the remains of the cindered home now all rubble, looking around and realizing this is where Agatha was supposed to be imprisoned.

"Oh no." She quietly whispers in concern, her head turning to see Spider-Man no longer behind her and looks around to see where he went.

Spider-Man leaps and swings towards the distressing sounds of Jessica calling out and the sound of repeating gunfire as he arrives to see a blonde figure in the air holding a blooded and bruised Jessica by the neck with Woo injured against the wall trying to load a clip into his pistol.

"Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up Spider-Man, guessing these are your friends huh?" He smiles cynically, throwing Jessica at him to which he carefully catches her.

Jessica was battered badly, her eyes rolled back unconscious as Spider-Man gently places her down on the ground  and looks angrily at the cruel synthozoid.

"I won't hold back now, you're gonna pay for hurting my friends." Spidey cracks his knuckles as he stares down Victor.
