[a/n Hey guys! So this is the start of my new fic, "Identity Disorder". I hope some of you came over here from "You Stay Away From Her" to see what else I came up with! This fic will be set up a little differently. There will definitely be more POV jumps, and some of the personality quirks of the characters might be a little inconsistent... you'll see why later! Some of the factors in this story are inaccurate with real life details, but it's a fanFICTION so deal with it. Also, I want to give each chapter a song that relates to the material in it. I've seen other authors do it, and I think it'll help put the story into perspective. Comment away, and let me know what you think! This first chapter (mostly setting the scene) is dedicated to vicsbum for all the voting on "You Stay Away From Her". Enjoy!]

Song Of The Chapter: "2 Chord" by Sleeping With Sirens

"I remember that we always

Remember that we always were so strong

Used to feel so alive now

I don't remember living for so long

She said she's tried a thousand times but she's always feared

And I'm already gone

If we could go back to how it was before

I promise I would never do you wrong, no

I'm not leaving, I'm not leaving

I'm staying here"

Kellin's POV

"I'm telling you guys, I am so done with women. I can't handle all the drama!" Justin drunkenly ranted, slamming his hand indignantly down on the bar counter. I was sitting in a sketchy California bar with my band, Sleeping With Sirens, and another band we're friends with called Pierce The Veil.

"I'm with you, dude," Jack declared, thumping Justin on the back [a/n WHO SHIPS HOWLER I KNOW I DO]. The two of them were considerably more drunk than the rest of us; Gabe had to nudge Jack every so often to keep him on his stool.

"Speaking of women, how's Alysha doing?" Tony's soft voice asked Mike. Mike's face lit up like a firework at the mention of his girlfriend; like summer and gold throwing their colors at the dark. I paused to look at the sparks radiating from his happiness. How long had it been since I felt that way?

"She's amazing, as always. And I should probably be getting back to her," Mike replied, glancing at the clock on the wall. Mike was a badass, but he doted on Alysha.

"I'm driving you tonight, so we'll see you guys," Tony told us, watching Mike pound back the last of his drink. Nick nodded in agreement as they left, noticing the late hour.

"Yeah, I'll take Gabe and Justin if Jaime gets Jack?" Nick offered, always the responsible one.

"I don't need no babysitter!" Jack pouted, making Justin laugh hysterically.

"I'll get him. Time to go, Jackie," Jaime announced, carefully pulling Jack up from his seat and holding him steady. Gabe performed a similar ritual with Justin.

"Rehearsal tomorrow?" Nick confirmed with me.

"Yeah, at the usual time. Make sure these two get their hungover asses there," I said, gesturing to Jack and Justin who were laughing at Gabe like he was the funniest thing in the world.

"Sure thing, see you then," Gabe called to me as the sober guys led the smashed ones out of the bar. I was left sitting with Vic, Pierce The Veil's lead singer and guitarist, and more importantly my best friend.
