Months had gone by since the two of you last saw each other face to face. Of course, you took the break up as adults and decided to stay friends. Not having any bad blood against each other. The break-up itself was heartbreaking for both of you as you both still had a lot of love in each other left. People were shocked when they first found out. Your families couldn't believe the announcement and it surely didn't help to tell them that you guys were still going to be friends. Because friends didn't look at each other like that, they didn't sleep in the same bed, live in the same house, tell each other that they loved each other like you guys did. Sure friends could do all that, but the way You and Daniel did it was so so so different.

Every word said was meant by the sender, even when fights would occur and he would spend the night on the couch or at Max's apartment on the 8th floor. But he would always come back. You were sure of that. Everyone was. Everyone was so sure that you were going to be his wife, the mother of his children, and everything that comes with that. Maybe the pressure of being a golden couple of the grid broke the two of you. The real reasoning for the breakup was never revealed to the public, as Daniel and you valued your relationship privacy over anything. The reasoning was one of the few things that didn't make it out to the press, luckily.

It was only a couple of days ago when Daniel called you for the first time since you last met up to talk things out. He came with the oddest request you had ever heard of and you found it kind of absurd actually. "Hey I know this is like out of nowhere, but would you like to do this video with me? It's called Exes play Truth or Drink... You don't have to of course. I just thought it would be a fun get-together" He chuckled nervously through the phone. You took a couple of seconds to process what he had just asked you for, before stupidly agreeing. What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah, yeah yeah. You were exes and it was kind of awkward or whatever. But you were still best friends like before, you just don't sleep with him and stuff anymore. And don't talk to him as frequently as you would like to. You loved his company and how his smile could light up an entire room which was what you fell in love within the first place. The warmth of his heart, the way he could understand people's emotions and feelings so easily. It was truly a gift from god, and you wondered what went wrong between you two.

Before you knew it, microphones were fastened to the collars of your shirts. Nothing but an IKEA table with two bottles of tequila and a single bottle of juice between you guys. Daniel looked over at the cameraman and waited for his command. "And...start." Lights flash towards you, probably the third couple in today and most likely going to be the most popular one watched. The bright light bounced off the side of your ex-boyfriend's face, he maintained eye contact.

"Tell us a little about yourselves." The director ordered, smiling from behind the camera. Silence. Daniel started engaging in the question before you even had the ability to answer, he was good at that. "I'm Daniel Ricciardo, kind of a motorsport driver, and yeah...!" He started, making people laugh as always. The question now bounced off to you. "I'm Y/N Y/L/N, I'm a Business Analyst.." You laughed at your own words, the contrast between you two was crazy. It was crazy how it all even worked out so well.
