Your POV:

'HARRY-' I laughed as he shoved Hermione into the bush, her shrill shriek sounding the minute her feet were off the ground.

I couldn't contain my chuckles when I looked at her, her legs sticking out of the bush, and thick curly hair caught in branches of the bush. She had this bewildered look plastered on her face as she blew one of the lose strands of hair away from her eyes.

I was doubled over, clutching on my stomach as it cramped from my loud laughter.

'What. The. FUCK.' Hearing Hermione drop such profanity, in which she would only ever say once in a blue moon, absolutely completed the situation.

'I'm sorry- I'm sorry-' Harry started apologising with his hands up by his chest. He definitely wasn't sorry, he was hardly even trying to hide the smile on his face.

'Yknow- it'd be just tragic if I also pushed you into this bush right now, Y/n.' He started to walk closer to me, hands out ready to seize me and toss me on top of Hermione.

But I'd been one step of ahead of him. I ducked under his arms and started running. Hermione yelled out something about how she'd "just help herself up" as Harry darted after me.

I ran through the lush grass in the courtyard and ducked into the outdoor hallway. I continued to weave through confused looking students, some throwing me judgemental glares, but I couldn't care less.

I was having fun so that's all that to me mattered to be honest.

I was looking back at Harry chasing after me, before I sharply turned around the upcoming corner.

I felt as though I had become weightless for half a second, that's how hard I'd smacked my head into whatever or whoever I'd hit.

It was confirmed that it was definitely something alive and not a stone pillar when it fell down with me, letting out a grunt of surprise upon impacting the ground.

My own head spun for a few moment, my vision going bleary. But through the blurred senses I was able to pick up on the signature blond hair below me.

'Holy shit-' I muttered out, 'I'm so sorry.'

I had landed practically on top of him, which the thought of how much I would've rathered Harry just pushed me into the bush- no scratch that, off a cliff even- than be in the situation I'd landed myself in, had occurred just to me.

I heard his indignant scoff sound from under me as I clambered up, using the wall to my left to help guide myself.

'What sort of idiot-' but when he looked up at me, the words immediately died in his throat.

I turned my head momentarily to see Crabbe and Goyle snickering as they strode off, and Harry was no where to be seen, which left me and Malfoy together.

When I glanced back his jaw was still slack, and gaze still locked onto me.

With an awkward sort of concern, i stuck my hand out,

'Uh.. do you need help up or?' He blinked once, as if I snapped him back into reality.

'Shit-' He cursed under his breathe before shaking his head.

'I'm.. I'm fine thanks.' As he stood up, I noticed the tinge of red that had dusted his pale cheeks.

'I'm sorry again- I shouldn't have ran around a corner like a first year...' I finished lamely, 'I wasn't thinking.'

'It's fine really. Uh, as long as you're fine too.' I quizzically raised an eyebrow at his concern. I wasn't naïve, I knew the absurdly bright pink on his cheeks could mean only few things. But it just seemed so out of reach for someone like Malfoy. We hardly even spoke.

'Yea, I'm right.' I said carefully, watching his gestures. He only merely nodded before quickly pacing away.

I stood for a few moments, thinking things over, somehow trying to just be naïve and lay it down to embarrassment, even though if anyone should be embarrassed it should be me.  That's when a Slytherin girl came up to me, and she wasted no time to start taking.

'You know he's like- infatuated with you right?' She said with a smirk plastered on her face.

'Oh uh. Not really I guess. Well not until that interaction.' I awkwardly shrugged.

She rolled her eyes, 'I sit across from him in the great hall, and god, if only you could see the eyes he's giving you. Surprised they haven't burnt a hole into the back of your head.'

She paused momentarily and chuckled. 'He doesn't talk about you, but merlin the look on his face gives me the impression he's incessantly thinking about you.'

I didn't have any time to comment or ask anything about the information she'd so willingly gave me, because she'd pranced off down the hall, seemly satisfied with what she'd just informed me of.

But I had plenty of things to think about to keep me occupied now. But two things I knew for sure, one was that Harry is dead. And that I was late for class.

A/N: I THINK THIS IS KINDA CUTE NGL. Also just thought I'd let y'all know I've started writing an actual book so I'll keep you updated on that! I'll still post here when it's out so don't worry about that. And I hope you enjoyed.

Stay hydrated, eat some good grub, and don't forget to rest up! Luv you <3 - A.S
