YOUR POV:

'Y/n!' Hermione greeted me with a smile, taking a seat beside me on the floor.

I had made my way to the library, with the intentions to read up on some stuff I needed for my upcoming Astronomy test, but had ended up with my back against the fiction section and the book I bought using the gift card from my secret admirer.

My secret admirer. The words had become awfully familiar. Frequently floating through my head while trying to do other things.

I've had that many people jokingly tell me it was them I truly don't have a clue to who it actually is.

Most recently being Draco, who'd mentioned it to me as I was walking here.

"I have my ways"

Draco is the type of person I really wouldn't be able to say if that was a joke or if he actually knows something about who my secret admirer is.

'Hey Mione,' I smile, reigning in my thoughts before glancing up from my page to her.

'Sooooo...' she glanced at me sideways, insinuating a question I could see coming before she even sat down.

'No Hermione, I don't know anything more about my secret admirer. Yes I will tell you if something else happens.'

She laughed gently, 'Promise?'

I nodded, sticking my pinky finger out.

'I've had so many people ask me about who they are. Draco even.' I tried to shrug nonchalantly, but it was hard to hold as her eyebrows shot up.

'Draco...?'

'Yes. Draco.' I sighed, tipping my head back up against the shelves with a sigh.

'He even said that "he sounds like quite a catch." And I don't even know if they're a boy."

'Wait? Do you think it's him—' I cut her off quickly as I could, but not quick enough. It was a thought I'd been trying to ward off since.

'God no Hermione!' I nearly choked, 'I thought he might know them.'

I used to have a crush on Draco— back in early third year. He cut his hair that break, ditching the slick back and that was me gone.

Hermione was the only one who knew about it. I didn't even tell her, she just knew.

'You didn't even entertain the thought?'

I rolled my eyes, fiddling with my fingers. Of course I had.

My absence of an answer seemed to be one in itself.

———

I walked down the hall that evening, astronomy book in hand heading for the library before it closed.

It'd been a week since Hermione had insinuated the letters were from Draco. And it's all I could think about.

So much so, the letter he'd sent since then I had the image of him in my head while I read it.

I shouldered through the library doors, heading straight to the back where it was quiet, a grimace probably strewn into my features.

If I kept thinking about it, I swear to god this test I was going to struggle to—

I glanced up, eyes locking with a familiar blonde.

My heart lurched into my stomach, feet faltering to keep up step.

I nodded, shooting a tight smile, earning a carefree one back.

Sitting down, my eyes lingering on his side profile, god he has a nice jawline— wait no, nope no he doesn't. Jesus— oh fuck he's looking at me god what do I do.

Caught red-handed, I immediately played it off pulling open my book to a random chapter, close to the end, no where near the notes I actually needed to revise.

I heard shuffling, but fought to keep my eyes trained on the page.

His tall figure approached in my peripheral vision and finally I broke my gaze from the page, looking up to him.

He was right in-front of me, that classic smirk plastered on his features. But yet his eyes had softened in a way I hadn't seen before.

He reached a hand forward, beginning to thumb through the pages of my astronomy book.

'Y'know,' he began, 'I don't even take astronomy but I know this is definitely not where you're at.'

He stopped just before the halfway point, pretty much exactly where I needed to be.

I stared at him, 'how...'

DRACO'S POV

'Don't worry.' I smiled.

I clenched my jaw slightly as I decided is was time to get it over with.

'Anyways,' I started awkwardly, resisting the urge to clear my throat. Offhandedly as I could I pulled the folded note from my pocket.

'Figured I may as well save my time posting it. Since you're here and all.' Her eyes burned clear with a thousand questions as she gently took the note.

'I- are you-' she stammered, her cheeks tinging pink.

I leant down to her, my heart skyrocketing as I did something I definitely hadn't planned on doing when I gave her the note tonight.

I pressed a chaste kiss on the corner of her lips, assuming that would answer most of her questions.

As I pulled back I felt her hand latch onto the collar of my shirt.

'Draco.' She huffed, a stern look in her eyes. For a moment I think I might've fucked up majorly.

'I absolutely hate you.' She sighed before crashing her lips back onto mine.

I swear my knees nearly buckled as her tongue swept over my bottom lip. Her book was tossed to the floor making a thud as she stood from the chair.

I hooked my hands around her neck, eager to make up for the months of never being able to touch her.

Her hands threaded in my hair, tugging gentle, earning a sigh from me.

This letter thing sure as fuck paid off.

A/N- hey MFS.

Secondly, I hope that make out scene (not that it was long) was ok. Because it kind of feels trashy IDK HAHA
anyway, thank you for your support! Love you, and don't forget to stay hydrated and eat some snacks <3
