i look up at him to see him frowning.
"what will happen if you go home empty handed?"
i stay quiet.
"answer me." he puts the gun up again. taking a step towards me.
"he hits me."
he frowns again.
"why"
"i would love to know" i roll my eyes once again.
"right. okay." i had caught him off guard.
he clears his throat.
"what else is in the bag?"
"just my phone" i get it out.
"smash it."
"what?"
"i said smash it."
"why!?"
"cause there might be a tracker or you might call someone"
"trust me no one will come even if i said i had been caught"
he frowns once again.
"just smash it"
i sigh and get up.
"how?"
"chuck it out the window."
i walked over to the open window and leaned out.
i quickly jumped out and began running across the roof, my heart pounding in my chest. i could hear him shouting but it was muffled because i was so nervous. i was running away from a guy with a gun. crap.
i reached the front of the house and jumped down. really not caring anymore. i just needed to get out of here. i was full on sprinting now. and i wasn't really paying attention to anything. i ran into the narrow road when i feel a strong force hit me in the side. knocking me to the ground. pain is all i felt throughout my body as i screamed, feeling blood on my head.
"shit should we call someone" i hear a guy say.
"no we can't"
"why?"
"i'll explain in the house. just- just get her inside."
i zone out for a bit trying to cope with the banging pain in my head. i must've knocked it when i fell.
i zone back in when i feel two arms grip around me and carry me inside. he sets me down as i look around. i was in a kitchen.
"i'll go uh, get the first aid box." the boy i hadn't seen before said then left the room.
