• as you remember last time, reader-chan was the big maknae from the 2018-debuted group Aqours!
• little recap
• fame hit the group big in summer of 2019 after a particularly rough year and a half
• it is now 2021, and the group has already celebrated it's 3rd year anniversary together
• in honor of the 3rd year anniversary, the group's entertainment agency decided to have the fans vote for the next song concept
• after holding a large poll, the verdict was a funky '80s party concept
• super different from the group's usual upbeat, youthful tune
• but aite bet-
• so, since the whole group is adults by now
• the company—with permission from the group members ofc—decided to spin things a little more maturely
• and take note, a lot of the discussion was focused on you & Harunobu
• it was no secret that the pair of you were the epitome of innocence in the group, despite your own chic look
• so the move to change that solid image ever so slightly would be a risky move
• but yk what?? you were down for it
• to you, it was a chance to branch out and truly become like your idol, Muse's Sumi
• and that's how you ended up here, bodice dress, stilettos, with a cocktail hanging from your lips
• whew they werent kidding when they said image change
• this was rlly branching out
• and honestly?? you werent so sure of ur decision anymore
• bc while it was true that the rest of the boys underwent the same change
• it wasnt as drastic as yours
• for one thing, mario, daiki, & kanon were alr notorious for their overt expressions and charisma
• so seeing them in classy suits with open collars jst made them hotter
• but it didnt change their image
• the fans alr thirsted for yousuke enough that this change wasnt surprising
• rikuo jst has this look MADE for the concept of funky 80s ok

• rui & harunobu came the closest to how drastic of a change you had but

• seeing the baby of the group sprout like that in the term of one comeback is jst

• this song is a fckn BOP
• and u get to showcase ur vocals in it :))
• since ur a visual and the group has so many vocal members alr, u dont get many singing parts

• the first day of filming focused on candid and singing shots
• so it was like jumping straight into business
• fortunately, u were one of the better members at doing "the look" into the camera
• so it rlly went off w/out a hitch
• yousuke & rikuo shared the same general setting for their scenes
• so they were there too
• cue all three of u hyping each other up

• rikuo was this snazzy business guy playing poker
• and u were an aspiring singer looking for work
• altho u actually cant drink yet having jst turned 19
• u still thought it was so cool singing w a drink in ur hand
• even tho it was colored water-
• now for day two
• the solo dance shots
• this one was FUN
• for this scene, the director literally told u "jst dance and sing around this room as if you were in ur own room playing around"
• FREE JAM SESSION??
• IN A CUTE PINK ONEPIECE??
• oh hell yeah
• you had so much fun
• dancing about the room
• waving hairbrushes around like a mic
• dancing to the song and overplaying everything
• this shot was ur personal favorite for a number of reasons
• one reason including the fact that it allowed you to break out of the fun-loving kid mold into bright young woman
• while u retained an aspect of your youth, you still radiated a mature new look and vibe
• so aayyyeee
• day three and four were group dances
• bc there were so many scenes & bgs used throughout the music video, the dances had to be filmed at the highest amount of locations the group's ever done
• while it was tiring
• it proved to be liberating
• bc this meant the budget being distributed to aqours was higher
• bc the group was getting more popular!!

• this dress was strapless, but it did have a top cut that matched the shape of ur ahem yeah lol
• w some fluff on the top for cuteness
• and censory cs ur still the baby-
• it was fairly easy to move around in :))
• and u didnt need shoes! jst socks!
