Chapter 17

"Will you go talk to your sister?" Jaden asked.

"Yeah, I already said that I would."

"I mean," He started. "Will you go talk to her like right now?"

"Why does it have to be right now?" I groaned. I was terrified to talk to her about it because I knew that I was going to end up feeling terrible afterwards.

"Please, I just don't want her being weird around me for the next week."

"Fine, I'll do it," I started. "You owe me for this."

"Whatever," He laughed as he grabbed my wrist.

"I thought you wanted me to go talk to her," I said as he gripped my waist.

"It can wait a minute," He planted a kiss on my lip and that kiss just got longer and longer. My hand slid up his back and into his smooth hair. His lips moved down my neck and I could feel him leaving hickeys all over.

He just kept going until we were interrupted with a nice, "Ew! Can you not make out while I'm here?"

I couldn't help but laugh at Jemma's little remark. "I'm gonna do whatever I want in my house."

I decided that I wanted to make her even more weirded out, so I just went back to kissing Jaden. "Fine, but can you do it when I'm not standing right here!?"

I broke the kiss for a split second. "Relax Jemma, have you never seen someone making out before?" I laughed.

"This is just weird!" Jemma sounded disgusted.

"How is this weird?" Jaden laughed as he went back to my lips.

"She's my sister and you're famous! I never thought Evelyn would be kissing a famous person, it's weird!"

"Well, she's pretty famous too," Jaden commented in between kisses.

"If you want to talk, can you stop kissing for a minute!?" She said pulling me away from him. I couldn't stop myself from laughing as she pulled me all the way to the couch.

"Why is that so weird for you?" I laughed. I'm pretty sure that would be weird for anyone, but I was curious to see her response.

"You're my sister! I never, ever thought that you would be making out with a guy that every girl on TikTok wants to rail!"

"I don't know about all of them," Jaden laughed as he sat down next to me on the couch.

"Trust me, it's all of them. You're hot and girls like that. I'd rail you if I had the chance," This little comment that she had to make just pushed me over the edge. Jaden immediately stopped laughing and looked straight at me.

"Jemma!" I yelled at her.

"What? I didn't realize that you were so oblivious Evie. You just have to face the fact that your boyfriend is hot and can sing. Every girl that knows he exists wants him."

"I know that Jemma, but let's just back up to the part where you said that you would rail him!"

"Yeah, I would and I'm not the only one."

"Can you just stop hitting on my boyfriend for a split second!? You are insane!"

"How am I insane for wanting to be with a hot person?"

"Shut the fuck up! I'm just realizing why you actually came here, you didn't come here to visit me. You came here to meet Jaden!"

"Evie, I'm your sister. I came to see you!"

"That is such a lie! It just happens to be a few days after you find out I'm dating him that you show up!? You can get the hell out of my house. Go find a hotel or something because I don't want to see you until you're done with hitting on Jaden."

"You have to be joking, you can't just kick me out."

"You think I'm joking? I'll call the cops right now, get out Jemma!" I ordered.

"Fine! If you want me gone, I'll leave!"

"Good!" I yelled as she ran upstairs to grab her stuff.

I glanced over to Jaden who looked completely shocked by what had just happened. "Are you okay?" He asked as he pulled me into a warm hug.

"Yeah, just a little overwhelmed," I said with a deep breath.

"That was really badass," He stated under his breath. I couldn't help but laugh.

"I guess that's what happens when you have a hot boyfriend that can sing," I smiled up at him.

"Are you sure that you're okay?" He asked again.

"Well, I knew that people were going to want you since we are in the spotlight and everything. I just didn't expect my own sister to be like that. When it was just comments online, I could take it, but Jemma going after you just wasn't something I was prepared for."

"What made you so mad about it?"

"Hmm, let's think about it," I said sarcastically. "Oh yeah, my sister said she wanted to rail you!" I laughed.

"Well you don't have to worry about that because I would never even think about getting with your sister," He laughed in return.

I started to get more serious, "And what about every other girl? You are going to have girls way smarter and prettier than me that want you."

"Why do you have to be so insecure?" He pulled my head up against his chest. "I know that there are always going to be other girls, but you're the only one that I want. To me, you are the most beautiful girl in the world and I would never give you up for anyone. I love you more than anything and I could never risk losing you."

"That's sweet," I said as I stared up into his gorgeous blue eyes. "It doesn't fix my mind though. I'm always going to be scared that something will happen and I can't change that. I'm just so afraid that I'm gonna lose you."

He planted a kiss on my lips that filled my stomach with butterflies, "Please don't worry, I could never give you up."

"I'm not trying to, I just overthink everything. I just think of the worst possibilities and then if they happen I know that they are coming so it hurts less."

"Listen to me," He said as he tilted my chin up so I was looking at me again. "I love you and no other girl is going to change that."

"I love you too," I said as I reached up and kissed him. "Don't act like you're not insecure too though. You get jealous over the tiniest things."

"What are you talking about!?" He laughed.

"Remember when I told you I kissed Josh? You were literally questioning everything," I laughed.

"I was not-" He was interrupted by an angry Jemma pulling her suitcase down the stairs. He released me from the hug and walked over to get the front door.

"You want me gone, so here I go. Bye Evelyn!" She shouted. She reached the bottom of the stairs and dropped her suitcase. She walked over to Jaden and planted a super aggressive kiss on his lips. The lips that belonged to me.
