So David and I went to a restaurant where you could eat outside. He pulled out a chair for me to sit then he sat down. I heard a familiar voice. It was James, Russell, and Lana. I turned around and James was dead staring at me. I wave and he just looked.
David-don't pay attention to them.
Kat-but they are nice people.
David- so what. Let's just eat.
David and I ate pizza and potato chips. I stood up and Lana saw me

Lana-you wanna hang with us today ?
Kat-is later good ?
Lana-ok see you later.
David said that I shouldn't go but I said I wasn't but I really was.
So around 3 I walked to the beach but I didn't realize James was going to be there.
Kat- hey James
James- hi
Kat-look what's wrong? Why are you so mad ?
James- your making a big mistake.
Kat- what do you mean?
James-David is a mistake. He dated my close friend from middle school. They dated until 11th grade.
Kat- so? Where you going with this ?
James- they broke up because David cheated on her with 2 girls and hit her multiple times.
Kat- that was his past. He's changed.
James-oh sure he has.
Kat- he has. So anyways Wheres Lana?
James-she's with Russell at the boardwalk.
Kat- oh
James-you know why I'm mad?

James- it's because I sorta like you and it's hard for me to see you with another guy.

James-yea but can't we still be friends?
Kat-of course. We'll always be friends.

So me and James walked to the boardwalk to meet up with Lana and Russell.

Me and Russell sat down while Lana and Kat were playing games.
James-I can't do it.
Russell-look bro you got to be her friend. She's obviously liking this David dude.
James-I feel really bad that I never talked to her in high school. I feel like a jerk.
Russell-well now your talking to her now.
I got a text. It was from my mom
Mom-hey honey. Im still with your grandma. I miss you guys a lot. Be home in a few months.
James-miss you too and so does Lana. See you when you come home.

I can't keep my eyes off Kat and I want her to be mine.
