So I went to sierra and told her to go across the street and get some lunch. I gave her $20 and told her to get me a bag of chips.
Ella-hey sorry I was busy with some kids so what's up?
Kat- James asked me to hang out with him tonight?
Ella- 😱 is it a date??
Kat- I don't think so. He said just to hang out.
Ella- when a boy asks to "hang out" he means he likes you.
Kat- not necessarily
Ella-well I read at book about when a boy likes a girl and that's the first step.
Kat-what's step 2?
Ella- If he stares at you from far distances and texts the girl excuses to come see you.
Kat- okay well I'm going to help sierra with homework while we eat lunch.
Ella- I'm going to eat my lunch with Russell
Kat- oaoohh James roommate?
Ella- yeah he's pretty cute.

So I went to my office to help sierra with her math homework.
Sierra- I just need help with number 7 and 28

So then I help her with it and we eat our lunch.
Sierra- so James is coming over tonight?
Kat- yeah 😐
Sierra- he seems nice and he's cute.
Kat- Yeah I guess he's cute
Sierra- Well I'm going to go home and call my friends to see if they are okay. Love you sis

So I left work at 3:30 and I walked home. Then I bumped into.....Russell
Russell-aye Kat right?
Kat-yeah. How was lunch with Ella
Russell-great. She's so sweet. So you and James huh?
Kat- oh we are just friends ...
Russell -I'm surprised he's talking to you ?
Kat- why you surprised?
Russell-he never talked to you in high school then all of sudden he talks now.
Kat-well I was super shy at high school and didn't really talk to people.
Russell- I noticed you in high school. You seemed cool. You should have hanged with us?
Kat- why didn't you talk to me?
Russell- this guy Alex was the big lead the of our squad and he said if we talked to you we out of the squad.
Kat- that's so stupid.
Russell- I know. I'm sorry. I should have talked to you.
Kat-it's okay. We are talking now 😃.
Russell-true. But gotta run. Have fun with James.
