I sat with my friends chatting away. Eventually Levy convinced Gajeel to join us and Lucy and Levy started to talk nonstop.
"Hey," I caught Gajeels attention, "happy birthday man. How old are you now?"
"Oh right, I didn't even notice that had happened. Yeah I'm 19 now. Thanks man."
I was about to give him some birthday bumps when a sudden realization hit me. I dropped my glass and jumped out of my seat, almost knocking Luce over along the way.
My jaw dropped as it completely threw me off.
He's 19.
