Chapter 10

I feel like I'm in cloud nine. Ganito ba feeling ng avid fans kapag nakikita nila harap-harapan mga idols nila?

They're so preoccupied with themselves that it appears as if they've forgotten about me. Dahan-dahan akong umaatras tutal hindi naman nila ako napapansin. Is this the life of an extra character, kahit na anong gawin ko hindi kapansin-pansin?

Kidding aside, I'm just following the story's plot. Lily and Gabriel's (ft. Noah) meet-up has no extra character so I'm simply removing myself.

Like a bystander, I watched them silently while eating corndog (another snack cart owned by our family). I didn't noticed na food cart yung nilapitan ko. And besides, this scene is more enjoyable with food.

The prince is really smitten with Lily. But since Lily is kinda oblivious in this matter, she is unaware of the prince's overt advances. She simply thought the prince was extremely kind.

And this is why a lot of noble ladies hated her.

"What a coincidence meeting you here, Lady Lily", Gabriel.

"Well, it's a festival so I'm here, Your Highness", Lily. Medyo tumalikod ako sakanila dahil baka mapansin yung mga pagpipigil ko ng tawa.

"Please, call me by my name Lily especially when we're alone. Also, I'm in disguise right now. I don't want to draw attention to myself since I want to enjoy the festival as well.", Gabriel.

"I understand Gabriel", Lily.

Why am I getting chills? I looked at them... parang may mga kumikinang-kinang na nakapalibot sakanilang dalawa. Tinignan ko rin yung knight na nasa likod ni Gabriel na si Noah.

Bilib din ako sayo. Nakakaya mong panooring sila ng ganiyan. Ang corny! Tutal magiging busy sila sa kanilang date ay itutuloy ko na rin yung paglalaro ko. May nakita akong game booth na malapit kaya nagtungo ako doon.

"So, where are you going now?", Gabriel.

Hindi ko alam kung paano nagkaroon ng basketball dito, but since we're here in the world of a book so it's expected. "Mister, I would like to play".

"That would be 5 silver coins", hmm? Mahal naman. Pero nagbayad pa rin ako.

"I'm actually with a friend. Violet and I are going to Treg street".

"Shoot! Three points", tumigil ako sa pagshoot. I think I just heard my name.

"Violet?", Gabriel.

"Yes, she mentioned a circus show in Treg St. and we plan to watch it", wait? What is she talking about? Did I unconsciously plan to go with her?

"Violet", tawag saakin ni Lily tsaka siya lumapit saakin. "Gabriel, this is my friend Violet", huh? When did we become friends? And why are you introducing me?
